Explore the major attractions of Kolkata, Kolkata has always been famous for its artistic culture, traditions and literacy which has also made it a Cultural Capital of India. Visit Shantiniketan, which is located at the distance of about 212 kilometres from Kolkata. It is a small town in the Birbhum district, renowned due to Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore, whose vision became what is now a University town that is Visva-Bharati University. Apart from this you will also get an opportunity to explore the amazing Sunderban. It is Tiger Reserve, Biosphere Reserve and a National Park in West Bengal. It is one of the largest reserves and home of the Bengal tiger which is covered by dense mangrove forests, which is also the home to reptile, invertebrate species such as salt-water crocodile and the verities of birds.
Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Patna - Vaishali – Patna (By Road-32 Kilometres)
Upon arrival at Patna airport, meet our representative, then proceed to the hotel. Check-in at your pre booked. After freshen up, proceed to explore Vaishali. It is a small village in Bihar. It is one of the renowned historical city and it believed that one of the first democratic republics of the world, with an elected assembly of representatives, flourished here.
Later, drive back to Patna for an overnight stay.
Day 02: Patna - Bodhgaya via Nalanda & Rajgir (By Road-180 Kilometres)
After breakfast, drive for Bodhgaya, one of the well-known Buddhist pilgrimage centres in India. En route, visit the famous towns of Nalanda and Rajgir. Later, drive further to Bodhgaya and on reaching here, check-in your pre-booked hotel. Rest day is free at leisure.

Day 03: Bodhgaya
Today after having breakfast, proceed for sightseeing tour of Bodhgaya. Visit the renowned Mahabodhi Temple, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is the place where, Gautam Buddha attained enlightenment. It is one of the holiest place for Buddhist. It comprises the sacred Bodhi tree, Vajrasana and six holy sites of enlightenment of Buddha. After a visit to this temple, you can explore some more attractions of the place, if time permits.
Later, return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 04: Bodhgaya - Patna (By Road-120 kilometres) – Kolkata (By flight)
After having your breakfast, and check-out from the hotel, then proceed for Patna airport to board the flight to Kolkata. Upon arrival at Kolkata Airport, meet our representative, after welcome, proceed to the hotel. Check-in to your pre-reserved Hotel.
After freshen-up proceed for Kolkata sightseeing Tour with our Tour Representative to see the popular places such as Dakshineswar Temple, Indian Museum, Marble Palace and St. Paul’s Cathedral. At the end of the Tour, return to your Hotel and relax.

Day 05: Kolkata
After Breakfast, proceed for Kolkata sightseeing tour with our Tour Representative to see the other popular places such as Victoria Memorial, Belur Math, Dalhousie Square, Vidyasagar Setu, Princep Ghat, Shovabazar Rajbari, Howrah Bridge and Park Street. Being one of the metropolitan cities of India, you will experience different cultures here but majority of the population is Bengali. The old tall buildings located on Dalhousie Street or the royal architecture such as Victoria Memorial loudly speaks of the rich cultural heritage of the State of West Bengal. Day 06: Kolkata – Shantiniketan - Kolkata (By Road-212 Kilometres)
After Breakfast, proceed for an excursion tour to Shantiniketan along with our Tour Representative. Shantiniketan is also called as Abode of Rabindranath Tagore and is a university town in West Bengal. It is famous due to its association with Nobel Laureate Sir Rabindranath Tagore, with his vision; the small city had been converted to University Town. Shantiniketan is not only popular amongst students but the inspirational serenity of the place fascinates many tourists from all over the world. Shantiniketan is a perfect destination to spend wonderful holiday in tranquillity and to closely see the Indian Culture.
On arrival at Shantiniketan visit the popular places such as Shantiniketan, Visva Bharti University, Art Gallery and Museum. At the end of the tour, return to your Hotel in Kolkata and relax.

Day 07: Kolkata – Sundarbans (By Road-100 Kilometres)
Check-out from the Hotel after your breakfast and proceed to Sundarbans National Park with our Tour Representative. Sundarbans is located in West Bengal and shared the international borders with Bangladesh. This beautiful dense forest is
recognized as UNESCO World Heritage site and home to large number of Royal Bengal Tigers.
After administration formalities you will be transferred by a motor boat to your Hotel at Sundarbans Island while passing through the different rivers. Upon your arrival at your Hotel, check-in and relax. In the evening you will be taken for a motor boat ride to the Sundarbans, during the tour you will visit the Sajnekhali watchtower, Sajnekhali museum and Mangrove Interpretation center. At dusk, return to your hotel and relax.

Day 08: Sundarbans National Park
Early morning proceed for a Safari Tour to Sundarbans. Unlike other forest reserves, the Safari tour at Sundarbans is different as it is done through a river cruise. Proceed to various watchtowers through an exhilarating boat cruise to go inside the dense forest while passing through the criss-cross of various rivers and visit the Dobanki Watchtower that offers a unique way to experience the wildlife through its half kilometre canopy walk along with other watchtowers such as Sudhanyakhali and Netidhopani. Later cruise through Matla which is a Sea Face, this is a point from where you can see Bay of Bengal. Lunch will be served on board. Post lunch visit the villages which are located around Sundarbans to interact with the local inhabitants to witness their lifestyle, culture and traditions. Sundarbans is also called as Amazon of India. At dusk, return to your Hotel and relax.
