Rapid Golden Triangle I had a wonderful experience in Golden Triangle Tour of North India! The trip was great! Everything worked very well The travel itself was well elaborated, the hotels were very well equilibration, from the more basic ones to the luxury resorts as the Dune or the Taj Malabar in Cochin. A very special experience was the trip on the boat (Spice Coast Cruises) -> simply great!

Overview

Kodaikanal is one of the most spectacular hill town of Tamil Nadu, which is located on Dindigul district. Often known as "Princess of Hill stations" as the town is blessed with amazing scenic beauty, picturesque view points and gorgeous waterfalls in and around the town. The city is situated at an elevation of 2,133 metres, on the upper Palani Hills in the state of Tamil Nadu, along the eastern coast of the Western Ghats. ‘Kodaikanal Weekend Getaway’ will give you the chance to explore the major attractions of the town such as Kodaikanal Lake, Coaker's Walk, Green Valley View, Golf Links, Pillar Rocks, Silver Cascade Falls and Bear Shola Falls. Also you will get the chance to enjoy the boating and fishing at the Kodaikanal Lake.

Itinerary

Day 01: Chennai - Kodaikanal road railway station (By Train) - Kodaikanal (By Road- 79.2 kms- 2hrs 6 mints)

Upon arrival at Kodaikanal road railway station, proceed to the hotel/resort in Kodaikanal, which is located at about 79.2 kilometres, the total travel duration will be approximately 2 hrs. On reaching Kodaikanal, complete the check -in formalities at your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure, here explore the surroundings.

Day 02: Kodaikanal

Today after breakfast, proceed to exploring Kodaikanal. Enjoy boating and fishing at the Kodaikanal Lake. Later, visit Coaker's Walk, Green Valley View, Golf Links, Pillar Rocks, Silver Cascade Falls and Bear Shola Falls.

Overnight in Kodaikanal.

Day 03: Kodaikanal- Kodaikanal road railway station - Chennai (By Train)

Today is the last of the tour, get on-time transfer to Kodaikanal road railway station for your onward journey.
