Overview
‘Short Escape to Hampi’ will give you the chance to explore the Group of Monuments at Hampi, which was the former capital of the Vijayanagara Empire, Situated within the ruins of the Vijayanagara Empire, which are spread over 26 sq km area. Most of these ancient ruins lie in and around Hampi Bazaar and the nearby riverside area that also comprises of the most sacred enclave of temples and ghats of the city. Hampi is a UNESCO world heritage site, which was listed in 1986. It is the collection of heritage sites, which is the best example of fine Dravidian Architecture. During the tour you will explore the major attractions of Hampi including ruins of Hampi, Chandramauleshwara temple, Malyavanta Raghunathswamy temple, Hazara Rama temple, Hemkuta group of temples, Krishna temple and Vittala Temple.
Itinerary
Day 01: Hyderabad – Hampi (By Road- 372.6 kms/07hrs 08 min)
Early morning, pick up from advised locations, then drive to Hampi. Upon arrival at Hampi, check into your pre booked.
Day 02: Hampi
Today after breakfast, proceed for full day excursion around Hampi. Here explore the ancient ruins, also visit the Hemkuta group of temples, Chandramauleshwara temple, Malyavanta Raghunathswamy temple, Hazara Rama temple, Krishna temple and East of Hampi Bazaar and also explore 16th century Vittala Temple.
In the afternoon, we will continue our journey and visit the Anegundi village, and explore the glimpse of the true culture and traditions of Karnataka.
In the evening return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 03: Hampi – Hyderabad (By Road- 372.6 kms/07hrs 08 min)
Today is the last day of the tour. After breakfast, drive back to Hyderabad. On arrival at Hyderabad, we will drop you at your own place.
