Overview
‘Short Escape to Athirapally’, will give you the chance to explore one of the most beautiful city of Kerala, Athirapally, located at Thrissur district at 70 km from Kochi. This splendid city is known as a land of lush green forests, gorgeous rivers and astonishing waterfalls. Athirapally waterfall is one of the most spectacular waterfall of this region. It is approximately 80ft high waterfall, joins the Chalakudy River. During the tour you will get the chance to explore Vazhachal Waterfalls, Vazhachal Forest Gardens, Charpa Falls and Thumpurmuzhi Gardens. Later, explore the tribal village and trek to the base of the waterfall.
Itinerary
Day 1: Cochin – Athirapally (By Road- 66kms/ 2hrs 7min)
Pick up from your advised location in Cochin, then proceed to Athirapally. Upon arrival, check in to pre-booked resort. The rest day is free at leisure, explore the beautiful surroundings of Athirapally at your own, just feel the rhythm of the nations which is spread over the entire region. Athirapally Waterfalls are often called as the Niagara Falls of India.
Stay overnight in resort.
Day 2: Arithapally
After breakfast, proceed to visit Athirapally sightseeing including Vazhachal Waterfalls, Vazhachal Forest Gardens, Charpa Falls and Thumpurmuzhi Gardens. Later, explore the tribal village and trek to the base of the waterfall. After visiting these places, return back to the Resort.
Stay overnight in Arithapally resort.
Day 3: Athirapally – Cochin (By Road- 66kms/ 2hrs 7min)
Today is the last day of the tour. After breakfast, and check out from the hotel/resort later you will proceed to Cochin for onward your destination.
