The trip was great! Everything worked very well The travel itself was well elaborated, the hotels were very well equilibration, from the more basic ones to the luxury resorts as the Dune or the Taj Malabar in Cochin. A very special experience was the trip on the boat (Spice Coast Cruises) -> simply great!

Overview

‘Short Escape to Mussoorie’ will give you the chance to explore Mussoorie, one of the most picturesque hill town of Uttarakhand in Dehradun district. This beautiful town is located on the foothill of Garhwal Himalaya at an elevation of 6580 feet above the sea level. Also known as ‘Queen of the Hills’, it is surrounded by breathtaking Himalayan mountain ranges and lush green forest of Deodar trees and amazing view of the valley. Mussoorie was established by Britishers in 1827. During the tour you will explore the major attractions of town such as Gun Hill, which is the second highest point of Mussoorie, Jharipani Falls, Kempty Falls, also explore Lal Tibba, the highest point of this beautiful town.

Itinerary

Day 01: Chandigarh – Mussoorie (By Road- 198.3 kms/5hrs 3min)

Early morning pick up from advised location in Chandigarh, then drive to Mussoorie. It will take 5 hrs approx. On reaching Mussoorie, check into your pre booked hotel. Rest day is free at leisure. In the evening explore Mall road and library chowk, the most happening place of the town. Enjoy the shopping and enjoy delicious plenty of food options available here.

Day 02: Mussoorie

Have your breakfast and proceed for Mussoorie sightseeing. In the afternoon, take your lunch and then continue for the remaining sightseeing. After the end of the tour, return back to the hotel and relax.

Day 03: Mussoorie – Chandigarh (By Road- 198.3 kms/5hrs 3min)

Have your breakfast and check out from the hotel and drive to Chandigarh. On reaching Chandigarh, transfer to the airport to board flight for onward journey.
