Dharamshala is one of the most popular and amazing hill station of Himachal Pradesh, situated in the upper reaches of the Kangra valley at average altitude of 1,475 meters above sea level. This amazing town is located on the foothill of Dhauladhar Mountains. Formerly known as Bhagsu. The headquarters of Central Tibetan Administration and Dalai Lama's residence in McLeodGanj are in Dharamshala. Itinerary
Day 01: Chandigarh - Dharamshala (By Road- 247 kms/05hrs 18min)
Early morning prick up from advised location in Chandigarh, then drive to Dharamshala.
En-route, enjoy the stunning views of the Dhauladhar range crosses the small village of Himachal Pradesh. Upon arrival at Dharamshala, check in to the hotel. Rest day is free at leisure. Enjoy the breath-taking surroundings.
Have Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02: Dharamshala
Today after breakfast, proceed for full day tour of Dharamshala covering Dalai Lama's village - popularly known as the Tibetan children's village, Mcleodganj area, Bhagsunath Temple, St. John's Church, Dal lake and Talnoo , which is the highest point in Dharamshala.
After sightseeing return back to the hotel.
Have dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 03: Dharamshala – Chandigarh (By Road- 247 kms/05hrs 18min)
Today is the last day of the tour. After breakfast drive back to Chandigarh for your onward destination.
