Rapid Golden Triangle I had a wonderful experience in Golden Triangle Tour of North India! The trip was great! Everything worked very well The travel itself was well elaborated, the hotels were very well equilibration, from the more basic ones to the luxury resorts as the Dune or the Taj Malabar in Cochin. A very special experience was the trip on the boat (Spice Coast Cruises) -> simply great!

Overview

Dalhousie is one of the most popular hill station of Himachal Pradesh, located at an elevation at between 6,000 and 9,000 feet above the sea level. This amazing hill town spread over a 14 sq km and covers over the five hills such as Kathalagh, Potreyn, Terah, Bakrota and Balun. It is named after the 19th century British Governer General Lord Dalhousie. This majestic hill town is surrounded by breath taking snow-capped peaks, rich forest of pines, deodars, oaks and flowering rhododendrons. It is the home of a number of rich in colonial architecture including beautiful churches. ‘Dalhousie Weekend Getaways’ will give you the chance to explore the major attractions of Dalhousie such as Bakrota Hill, Bathri View, Pangi View, waterfalls of Subhash Baoli, Satdhara and Panjpulla etc. Also explore Khajjiar as well.

Itinerary

Day 01: Chandigarh – Dalhousie (314.5 kms/ 06hrs 23 min)

Early morning pick up from advised location in Chandigarh, then drive to Dalhousie. Upon arrival at Dalhousie check in to your pre booked hotel/resort. Evening is free at leisure, explore the beautiful surroundings.

Overnight at hotel/resort.

Day 02: Dalhousie

Today after breakfast, proceed to explore the major attractions of Dalhousie including Khajjiar excursion. Khajjiar is located at the distance of 21 kms away from Dalhousie.

Visit places like Bakrota Hill, Bathri View, Pangi View,waterfalls of Subhash Baoli, Satdhara and Panjpulla etc.

Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 03: Dalhousie – Chandigarh (314.5 kms/ 06hrs 23 min)

Today is the last day of the tour. After breakfast drive back to Chandigarh for your onward destination.
