The trip was great! Everything worked very well The travel itself was well elaborated, the hotels were very well equilibration, from the more basic ones to the luxury resorts as the Dune or the Taj Malabar in Cochin. A very special experience was the trip on the boat (Spice Coast Cruises) -> simply great!

Overview

Diu is a town in union territory of Daman and Diu, which is situated at off the Saurastra coast of Gujarat. This region was dominated by the Portuguese, and still we can see the essence on its rich architectures in the form of Portuguese Cathedral along with the ruins of other architectures. Diu is also known as a fishing town. It offers the amazing blend of sea, sand and sun.

‘Diu Weekend Getaway’ will give you the chance to explore the splendid beaches of this beautiful town. Explore Nagoa beach and other major attractions of the town such as St. Pauls Church, Diu Museum and Diu Fort.

Itinerary

Day 01: Ahmedabad - Diu (By Road- 372 Kms/07hrs 15min)

Today after having an early breakfast, proceed to Diu. Upon arrival check in to the hotel. Diu is a town in union territory of Daman and Diu, located at the eastern end of Diu Island. This region was dominated by the Portuguese, hence this place is renowned for its ancient Portuguese Cathedral along with the ruins of other architectures. Evening visit to the Nagoa beach.

Day 02: Diu

After breakfast, proceed to visit the major Sightseeing around Diu includes Nagoa Beach, St. Pauls Church, Diu Museum, Diu Fort. Water sports include Para Sailing, water skiing, water scooter, Family boat and speedboats are available at the beaches

Day 03: Diu – Ahmedabad (By Road-372 Kms/07hrs 15min)

Today is the last day of the tour, after breakfast, drive to Ahmedabad for your onward journey.
