Overview

Often known the Fort City, Vellore is one of the most popular city of Tamil Nadu. The city is blessed with rich heritage, culture and traditions. This amazing city is Located on the banks of Palar River in the north-eastern part of Tamil Nadu. ‘Vellore Weekend Getaway’ will give you the chance to explore the major attractions of the town such as Sripuram-Sri Lakshmi Narayani Golden Temple and Jalakanteswarar Temple. Also visit Vellore Fort, Vainu Bappu Observatory, Yelagiri and Delhi Gate (Vellore).

Itinerary

Day 01: Chennai – Vellore (By Road- 140.1 kms/ 2hrs 57mints)
 
Pick-up from advised location/railway station/airport, then drive to Vellore. Upon arrival at Vellore, check in at your pre booked hotel.  After freshen up, proceed to visit Sripuram-Sri Lakshmi Narayani Golden Temple and Jalakanteswarar Temple.
 
After visit, return back to the hotel. Rest day is free at leisure.
Overnight at Chennai.
 
Day 02:  Vellore 
 
Today after breakfast, proceed to visit Vellore Fort, Vainu Bappu Observatory, Yelagiri and Delhi Gate (Vellore).
After visit, return back to the hotel. Rest day is free at leisure.
 
Overnight at Chennai.
 
Day 03: Vellore – Chennai (By Road- 140.1 kms/ 2hrs 57mints)
 
Today is the last day of the tour. After breakfast, drive to Chennai for your onward destinations.
