Itinerary
Day 01: - Chennai – Madurai (By Road- 464.8 kms/07hrs 15mints)
Early morning drive to Madurai. On arrival at Madurai, complete the check-in formalities at your pre booked hotel. The rest of the day is free for leisure activities, exploring the nearby surroundings/market.
Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Madurai
Today after having an early breakfast, proceed to explore the major attractions of Madurai including the Meenakshi Amman Temple, Thirupparankundram Murugan Temple, Gandhi Museum, Samanar Hills, Koodal Azhagar Temple and Pazhamudhir Solai.
Overnight stay in Madurai.
Day 03: Madurai - Chettinad – Madurai (By Road- 76 kms)
After having an early breakfast. Proceed to for an excursion to Chettinad , which is known as the land of Heritage and Devotion, situated in the Sivaganga District of Tamil Nadu.
Visit Chettinad Palace which is renowned for its beautiful mansions and other monuments around. Here taste the sumptuous authentic Chettinad cuisine.
Return to Madurai hotel for night stay.
Day 04: Madurai – Chennai (By Road- 464.8 kms/07hrs 15mints)
Today is the last day of the tour. After having an early breakfast, drive back to Chennai. Upon arrival at Chennai, you will be transferred to the international airport/railway station to board flight/train for onward journey.
