It was the Summer Capital of British India from 1864 to 1947. Itinerary
Day 1: Delhi - Shimla (Appox 360 kms by Drive)
Early morning, proceed to Shimla by road. Located at 2,397 meters above from sea level, the heady combinations of Chill Mountain air, orchards and colonial charms still make Shimla a dream get away. Arrive and transfer to hotel. Rest of the day is free to explore various scenic sights or visit Mall Road.
Night stay in Shimla.
Day 2: Shimla - Kufri – Shimla (Appox 18 kms by Drive)
After breakfast proceed for excursion to Kufri, which is 14 kilometers away from Shimla. Kufri, a must-visit place, located at an altitude of 2290 meters above the sea level, Kufri is famous for its Himalayan National Park, Poney and Yak Ride and One can see the endless Himalayan Panorama from Kufri, In the afternoon, visit the Viceregal lodge, which was designed by British architect. The lodge was the residence of the British viceroy of India. Later you can spend some time at the mall and visit some nearby sites like the Christ Church, Scandal Point, and the Gaiety Theatre along with some shopping. In the evening, return back to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3: Shimla – Delhi (Appox 360 kms by Drive)
Today is the final day of the tour. After early morning breakfast. Complete the check-out formalities. Proceed for drive back to New Delhi.
