Overview
Also known as Keoladeo National Park, Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary is one of the most popular destination of Rajasthan. The sanctuary is renowned as the host to thousands of migratory birds especially during the summer season, apart from this, it is also the home of over 375 species of birds, including Pelicans, Cranes, Herons, Spoonbills and others. The sanctuary was established in 13 March 1956 under the name of Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. In 10 March 1982, the sanctuary was assigned as a national park and was named Keoladeo Ghana National Park. Later, this national park was recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1985. ‘Short Escape to Bharatpur’ will give you the chance explore this amazing sanctuary also enjoy the unforgettable experience of birdwatching.
Itinerary
Day 01: Delhi - Bharatpur (By Road- 200 Kms / 3 Hrs drive)
Morning drive to Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary, which is located about 200 kilometres from Delhi. Upon arrival at Bharatpur check in to your pre-booked hotel/resort. Have lunch at hotel/resort. Post lunch, proceed to visit Bird sanctuary.
Have dinner and overnight stay at hotel/resort.
Day 02: Bharatpur
Today after breakfast, proceed to enjoy Bird watching, Boating and Rickshaw ride inside the Sanctuary. Back to hotel, Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 03: Bharatpur - Delhi (By Road- 200 Kms / 3 Hrs drive) Departure
Today is the last day of the tour. After having an early breakfast, drive back to Delhi.
