Overview
Warangal is one of the historical city of Warangal district in Telangana. It is located at 148kms from Hyderabad and second largest city of this region. The city was known as Orugallu and it was the capital of the Kakatiya dynasty from 1195 CE. In 1323, they were defeated by the Delhi Sultanate and renamed it Sultanpur. Itinerary
Day 01: Hyderabad – Warangal (By Road- 148 Kilometres)
Early morning pickup from advised location in Hyderabad,proceed to Warangal. It is considered one of the heritage cities and the second-fastest growing city in Telangana state.
Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Take rest for a while, later, proceed on a sightseeing tour of Warangal which include Warangal Fort, Thousand Pillared Temple and Pakhal Lake.
Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 02: Warangal – Ramappa - Warangal (By Road- 67 Kilometres)
After having an early breakfast proceed for full day excursion to Palampet where the historic Ramappa temple with the beautiful rock carved temples and enjoy the boating in the Ramappa Lake. After sightseeing return back to Warangal.
Overnight at the hotel in Warangal.
Day 03: Warangal - Hyderabad (By Road- 148 Kilometres)
Today is the last day of tour. After breakfast head to Hyderabad for your onward destination.
