The trip was great! Everything worked very well The travel itself was well elaborated, the hotels were very well equilibration, from the more basic ones to the luxury resorts as the Dune or the Taj Malabar in Cochin. A very special experience was the trip on the boat (Spice Coast Cruises) -> simply great!

Overview

‘Srisailam Weekend Getaway’ will give you the chance to explore which is located on Nallamala Hills of Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh, India. It is situated on the banks of the Krishna River. It is renowned for its Brahmarambha Mallikarjunaswamy Temple, one of the most popular pilgrim centre for Hindus. It is the one of the 12 Joytilingas. During the tour you will get the chance tom explore the Srisailam temple tour including Bhrama Ramba Mallikarjun Temple (Jyothir lingam), Sikharam and Sakshi Ganapathi Temple. Apart from this also explore Srisailam Dam and Akamahadevi Caves.

Itinerary

Day 01: Hyderabad – Srisailam (By Road- 213.1kms/04hrs 18min)

In the morning drive to Srisailam. Which is located on Nallamala Hills of Kurnool district. It is renowned for its Brahmarambha Mallikarjunaswamy Temple, one of the most popular pilgrim centre for Hindus as it is the one of the 12 Joytilingas.

On arrival check into the hotel. Rest day is free at leisure.

Overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Srisailam

In the morning after breakfast, proceed for Srisailam temple tour including Bhrama Ramba Mallikarjun Temple (Jyothir lingam), Sikharam and Sakshi Ganapathi Temple.

An overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 03: Srisailam – Hyderabad (By Road- 213.1kms/04hrs 18min)

After breakfast, we will leave for Hyderabad. En-route, we will visit Srisailam Dam and Akamahadevi Caves. Later, we will continue our drive back to Hyderabad. On arrival at Hyderabad for onward journey.
