‘Short Escape to Vijayawada’ will give you the chance to explore Vijayawada. Literally means "City of Victory', Vijayawada is situated on the banks of Krishna River. It is located in Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh.It is the biggest city in the district and 3rd largest city of the Andhra Pradesh. It was ruled by King Madhava Varma, he was the ancestor of Pusapatis of Vizianagaram. During the tour you will explore Kanaka Durga Temple, Akana and Mandana Caves and Malleswaraswami Temple. Apart from this also visit the Buddhist centre of Amaravathi, which is located at 63.4 kms. Here explore the ruins of Buddhist Stupas, which is also known as the Mahachaitya Stupa. The Amravati Stupa was believed to be the largest stupa in the country. Also visit the Ashokan Pillar and Amravati museum.
Itinerary
Day 01: Hyderabad – Vijayawada (By Road- 272.5kms/4hrs 29min)
Early morning, pickup from advised location in Hyderabad, then drive to Vijayawada. Upon arrival at Vijayawada, check in to your pre booked hotel.
After freshen up, proceed for city sightseeing tour of Vijayawada. We will be visiting the renowned Kanaka Durga Temple, Akana and Mandana Caves and Malleswaraswami Temple.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Vijayawada
Today, after breakfast, proceed for proceed to visit the Buddhist centre of Amaravathi , which is located at 63.4 kms. View the ruins of Buddhist Stupas, which is also known as the Mahachaitya Stupa. The Amravati Stupa was believed to be the largest stupa in the country. Also visit the Ashokan Pillar and Amravati museum.
In the evening, return back to the hotel.

Day 03: Vijaywada – Hyderabad (By Road- 272.5kms/4hrs 29min)
Today is the last day of the tour. After breakfast, we will drive to Hyderabad. En-route, explore Kondapalli Village, a small village, which is renowned for artisans, who works on the Puniki wood and painting.
Further, resume drive to Hyderabad. On arrival at Hyderabad, we will drop you at your place.
