‘Short Escape to Ajanta & Ellora’ will give you an opportunity to explore two most popular UNESCO World Heritage Sites that is Ajanta & Ellora. World famous for its rock cut caves and its murals, Ajanta Caves are the finest surviving examples of Indian art, particularly painting. This amazing caves are dated back to 2nd century BC, located at 107 km away from Aurangabad.
Often known as ‘Verul Leni’ Ellora is one of the most popular cave temples, located in Maharastra, which is dated between 6th and 9th centuries. Ellora is renowned for its beautiful carvings and largest single monolithic excavation in the world.
Itinerary
Day 1: Pune – Aurangabad (By Road- 235.1/04hrs 01min) - Ellora Caves – Aurangabad (By Road-31.7 kms/ 51 min)
Early morning, pick up from advised location from Pune, then drive to Aurangabad. Upon arrival, check in to your pre booked hotel. After freshen up, proceed to visit Ellora Caves. It is a World Heritage Site, renowned for its beautiful carvings.
After visiting Ellora Caves, explore the other historical places such as Bibi ka Maqbara and Daulatbad Fort. After full day sightseeing, return back to Aurangabad and have dinner.

Day 2: Aurangabad - Ajanta caves – Aurangabad (By Road-96.7 kms/02hrs 4min)
After having an early breakfast, drive to Ajanta Caves. It is also an UNESCO World Heritage Site which is renowned for its rock cut caves and alluring paintings. This beautiful cave is dated back to 2nd century BC. Explore the beautiful ancient caves. After visiting this historical sites, drive back to Aurangabad city. Evening is free at leisure, you may stroll around the place.

Day 3: Aurangabad – Pune (By Road-235.1/04hrs 01min)
Today is the last day of the tour. After breakfast, get transferred to Pune for your onward destination.
