The trip was great! Everything worked very well The travel itself was well elaborated, the hotels were very well equilibration, from the more basic ones to the luxury resorts as the Dune or the Taj Malabar in Cochin. A very special experience was the trip on the boat (Spice Coast Cruises) -> simply great!

Overview

‘Ganpatipule Weekend Getaways’ will give you the chance to explore one of the most spectacular and small coastal town of Maharastra, ‘Ganpatipule’ is located in the Ratnagiri district. This beautiful beach town offers splendid beaches, silvery white sand along with stretches of rocks surrounded by mangroves and coconut palm trees. The city named after one of the renowned temple of the town ‘The Swayambhu Ganesh’ temple is dated back to 400 year old, dedicated to lord Ganesh. It believed that the idol of Ganpati was sprung up from the soil itself. During the tour you will explore the major attractions of in and around the town such as Jaigad Fort, Ganapatipule Beach, Mandavi Beach, Ratnagiri and Swayambhu Ganpati temple.

Itinerary

Day 01: Pune – Ganapatipule (By Road- 326 kms- 06hrs 09min)

Early morning, pick up from advised location in Pune, then drive to Ganapatipule. Upon arrival at Ganapatipule, check in to your pre-booked Hotel/Resort. Take rest for a while and later visit Jaigad Fort. After visit, return back to hotel.

Overnight stay at hotel/resort.

Day 02: Ganapatipule

Today after breakfast, proceed for beach tour including Ganapatipule Beach, Mandavi Beach, Ratnagiri and Swayambhu Ganpati temple. The temple is devoted to Hindu God Ganesh.

Overnight stay at Hotel/resort.

Day 03: Ganapatipule – Pune (By Road- 326 kms- 06hrs 09min)

Today is the last day of your tour. After breakfast drive back to Pune. On arrival transfer to Airport / Railway station for your onward destination.
