Overview
Jim Corbett National Park is one of the most popular wild life sanctuary in Uttarakhand, it is the first Sanctuary to come under the project of Tiger, established in 1936. This amazing wildlife sanctuary is located in Nainital district, surrounded by lush green forest along with sub hill of Himalaya comprising chir, pine, Sal and Sheesham trees. It named after Jim Corbett who played a significant role in its establishment. The National Park is the home of more than six hundred species of birds along with varies flora. The population of the tigers are around 160 here. ‘Short Escape to Corbett National Park’ will give you the chance to explore the rich flora and fauna along with the Jungle walk at the Corbett National Park apart from this there are various other attractions in Corbett are such as Elephant Ride, Corbett Waterfall, River Rafting and Corbett Museum etc.
Itinerary
Day 01: Chandigarh-Corbett National Park (By Road- 354.5 Kms/ 06hrs 53min)
Early morning pickup from advised location in Chandigarh, then drive to Corbett national Park. Upon arrival, check in at your pre-booked Resort. After freshen up, you may proceed visit Corbett Museum, Garjiya Devi temple or enjoy in house recreational activities at your resort.
Have dinner and Overnight stay at Resort.
Day 02: Corbett National Park
Today early morning you will get the wakeup call, then proceed for jeep Safari. Early morning is the best time to spot the wild Animals such as Deer, Sambar, Wild elephants, leopard, Tigers etc.
After safari, return back to the resort and have breakfast. Day free at leisure. Post lunch you can either go for an elephant safari or can go to Corbett fall.
Dinner and overnight stay at Wildlife Resort.
Day 03: Corbett National Park-Chandigarh (By Road- 354.5 Kms/ 06hrs 53min)
Today is the last day of the tour. After having an early breakfast, then drive back to Chandigarh for your onward destination.
