The city is also most important pilgrim place for Sikh religion as one of the renowned Gurudwara ‘The Golden Temple’ is located here. It was built by fourth Sikh guru Ram Dass in 1577. Itinerary
Day 01: Chandigarh – Amritsar (By Road- 228.7kms/ 04hrs 11min)
Early morning, pick up from advised location in Chandigarh, then drive to Amritsar. Upon arrival in Amritsar, you will be welcomed by our representative, then proceed to hotel. Check in to your pre booked hotel. Rest day is free at leisure. Overnight
Have dinner and overnight stay in Amritsar.
Day 02: Amritsar
Today after breakfast, proceed for to visit the major attractions of Amritsar. Visit the popular Golden Temple, Jallianwala Bagh , Durgiana Mandir, dedicated to the Hindu goddess Durga and Baba Atal Rai Tower.
After sightseeing of Amritsar, return to your hotel.
In the evening, proceed to visit Wagah Border, which is located at 25 kilometres from the city between India and Pakistan.
Here enjoy the ceremonial changing of guard, the march-past followed by the singing of national anthem and other patriotic songs. After visit return back to your hotel and have Dinner.
Overnight stay in Amritsar.
Day 03: Amritsar – Chandigarh (By Road- 228.7kms/ 04hrs 11min)
Today after breakfast, proceed to explore local market. Afternoon drive back to Chandigarh for your onward destination.
