The trip was great! Everything worked very well The travel itself was well elaborated, the hotels were very well equilibration, from the more basic ones to the luxury resorts as the Dune or the Taj Malabar in Cochin. A very special experience was the trip on the boat (Spice Coast Cruises) -> simply great!

Overview

Hassan is one of the most popular city of Karnataka state located in the south-western region. It is renowned for rich history and culture. The city is situated just 143.6 kms from Bangalore, and it is a base to visit Sharavanabelagola, Belur and Halebid. ‘Short Escape to Hassan’ will give you the chance to explore Shravanabelagola, one of the most important Jain pilgrim centres. Also visit Hassanamba Temple, which is the prime temple of Hassan. It is 800 years old temple, devoted to Goddess Shakti, known as Amba. Apart from this you will also get the chance to visit Srirangapatanam. Which is popular for the Tipu Sultan's former capital.

Itinerary

Day 01: Bangalore – Shravanbelgola (By Road- 143.6 kms/2hrs 33min) – Hassan (By Road- 50.3 kms/57min)

Early morning pickup from advised location Hassan. En-route visit Shravanabelagola, one of the most important Jain pilgrim centres.

Further resume drive to Hassan. Upon arrival check into the hotel. Rest of day at leisure.

Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 02: Hassan

Today after having an early morning breakfast, proceed for temple and city tour including Hasanamba Temple, which is about 800 years old temple, dedicated to Amba also known as Goddess Shakti.

Later return to the hotel. Rest day is free at leisure.

Day 03: Hassan – Bangalore (By Road- 182.6/03hrs 27 min)

Today is the last day of the tour. After having an early breakfast, en-route visit Srirangapatanam. Which is popular for the Tipu Sultan's former capital. Further resume drive to Bangalore.
