Overview
Udaipur is one of the most popular and historical city of Rajasthan. Formerly, it was the capital of the Rajput kingdom of Mewar. The city considered one of the most romantic city of India, which is renowned for its rich history, culture, spectacular Rajput era palaces and scenic locations. The city is also known as ‘City of Lakes’ as it is the home of various water bodies such as Pichola Lake, Fateh Sagar Lake, Swaroopsagar, Udaisagar and Rangsagar. The name of Udaipur drives from its founder Udai Singh. Udai Singh II was the Maharana of Mewar and 53rd ruler of the Mewar dynasty.

Itinerary
Day 01: Ahmedabad - Udaipur (By Road-258kms/ 4hrs 15min)
Pick up from your advised location in Ahmedabad, then drive to Udaipur. Upon arrival at Udaipur get transfer to the hotel. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Rest day is free at leisure.
In the evening and enjoy a boat ride at Lake Pichola.
Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02: Udaipur
Today after breakfast, embark on a half-day sightseeing tour such as City Palace, Jagdish Temple and Fateh Sagar Lake. In the afternoon, return back to the hotel. Evening is free to explore the city at your won, you may roam around the local markets of the Udaipur, where you can get some authentic Rajasthani items.
Stay overnight in the hotel.
Day 03: Udaipur- Ahmedabad (By Road- 258kms/ 4hrs 15min)
Today is the last day of the tour. After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Ahmedabad for onwards destination.
