The major dynasty was The Satavahana dynasty which was ruled 230 BCE to 220 CE. Orissa is one of the most beautiful state of located in the east of India which is known for its exotic cultures and warm & friendly people along with that it is also renowned for its beautiful costliness which spread over 480 kilometre, surrounded by mountains, stunning lakes and gorgeous rivers. You can feel the essence of the history, culture and traditions of this region while exploring the various monuments. Apart from this you also get the chance to understand the tribal life of the region while visiting the various tribal villages along with the significant tribal markets. It is the capital of west Bengal, Located on the east bank of the Hooghly river. Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Hyderabad
On your arrival at Hyderabad airport, meet our representative, after welcome, proceed to the hotel. Hyderabad Renowned as the City of Nawabs, It is culturally rich city of India. It is the capital of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Check in at the hotel, after freshen up, and proceed to your tour by visiting the beautiful monument, Char Minar; the stunning Charminar is located in the old city. Built by Muhammad Quli Qqutub shah in 1691. You then head to Mecca Mosque, the biggest Mosque in Hyderabad. It was built by Muhammad QuliQutub Shah in 1617. Further, visit the Qutaub Shahi Tomb, which is one of the most glorious architectural of Qutub Shahi dynasty.
After sightseeing, return back to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2: Hyderabad
Today after breakfast, proceed to visit Birla temple, located at the height of up to 280 feet, which offers the panoramic view of the town. Then proceed to visit Salarjung Museum, which houses the various historic artefacts, including the several Jade daggers belonging to Emperor Noor Jahan and Shah Jahan, Jahangir, and the wardrobe of Tipu Sultan. Then proceed for Golconda Fort, which is located about 11 kilometres away from Hyderabad. Which is one of the architectural wonders in Hyderabad.
Further, enjoy the boat ride at Hussain Sagar, then proceed Lumbini Gardens, enjoy the water shot up in sky, making a water screen. After sightseeing, return back to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3: Hyderabad – Warangal (By Road-148 Kilometres)
After having an early breakfast, proceed to Warangal. It is considered one of the heritage cities and the second-fastest growing city in Telangana state. This city offers a wealth of architecture and exquisite sculptures, which reflects the richness of this town.
Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Take rest for a while, later, proceed on a sightseeing tour of Warangal which include Warangal Fort, Thousand Pillared Temple and Pakhal Lake. Stay overnight in the hotel.
Day 4: Warangal – Khammam (By Road-120 Kilometres)
Today after breakfast, proceed to visit Ramappa Temple, it is the oldest temple, built during the period of Kakatiyas reign in 12th century. Then visit Thousand Pillared Temple which was built in 1163 AD by King Rudra Dev of Kakatiya dynasty. Later explore the Warangal Fort which was built during 13th century.
Then, proceed to Khammam by road. On arrival, check into your pre-booked hotel. Rest day is free at leisure. You can explore the surroundings. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 5: Khammam – Vijayawada (By Road-123 Kilometres)
Today after breakfast, proceed to visit the Sree Seetha Ramachandra Swamy Temple, located on the banks of river Godavari. This temple, dedicated to Lord Ram. This temple was built during the 17th century. Then drive to Vijayawada, It is also known as "The Business Capital of Andhra Pradesh", located on the banks of the Krishna River in Andhra Pradesh.
On arrival in Vijaywada, check in at the hotel. Rest day free at leisure. In the evening, enjoy a leisurely stroll in the city. Stay overnight in the hotel.
Day 6: Vijayawada
Today after an early breakfast, proceed for day trip to Kondapali Village. The inhabitants of this village are famous for making unique wooden toys from Tella Poniki wood that is found only in the hills of the region.
Then visit is Kanaka Durga Temple, it is an ancient temple, dedicated to Goddess Kanaka Durga. The temple is located on the banks of river Krishna. In the evening is for exploring the Undavalli Caves, carved out of solid sandstone, it is one of the ancient cave dated back to the 4th and 5th centuries A.D. Overnight Stay at hotel.
Day 7: Vijayawada – Kakinada (By Road-220 Kilometres)
Today, after breakfast, drive to Kakinada. En-route explore a quaint French Church made during the 18th century and later visit a Serene Cemetery. Also visit Draksharamam Temple, a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.
On arrival in Kakinada, check-in at your pre booked hotel. Rest day is free at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 8: Kakinada – Visakhapatnam (By Road-153 Kilometres)
After having an early breakfast, proceed to Visakhapatnam by road. Visakhapatnam, is also known as Vizag, it is the second largest city in Andhra Pradesh. Located on the Eastern Ghats, it overlooks the Bay of Bangal, and bound by hills. Its harbour became a port after it was colonised by the Dutch and later the British. It is the major commercial city, which is the home to the oldest shipyard and the only natural harbour on the east coast of India. The city is also the headquarters for Eastern Naval Command of the Indian Navy.
Arrive in Vishakapatnam by evening and check in at the hotel. Take a rest and stroll around the beach in the evening. By evening, return back to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 9: Visakhapatnam
Post breakfast, proceed to Araku Valley, it is a one of the spectacular valley with stunning waterfalls and beautiful. You will also explore Borra Caves, which is also known as Borra Guhalu, then visit Bheemili Beach as well.
After visiting the major sights of Visakhapatnam, return back to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 10: Visakhapatnam - Gopalpur On Sea (By Road-184 Kilometres)
Post breakfast, drive to Gopalpur on Sea and Chilka Lake. This is the one of the beautiful beaches of Orissa. Later, visit Chilka Lake, which is divided into an outer channel with a narrow neck. This channel leads into the sea and on the other hand, the main body of the lake has a muddy bottom plentiful in organic matter.
Upon arrival at Gopalpur on Sea. Check in to your pre- booked hotel. After freshen up, explore the beautiful surroundings, enjoying street food and interact with the locals, so that you can understand the culture and traditions of the region. Return to your hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 11: Gopalpur On Sea – Puri (By Road-176 Kilometres)
In the morning, after breakfast, drive to Puri. It is one of the most historical city of Orissa, which is located on the Bay of Bengal. It is also known as Jagannath Puri, which is named after the 11th-century Jagannath Temple. It is the holiest pilgrim site for Hindus, which comes under Char Dham. Apart from this this town is also offers the various historic antiquities, architectural grandeur and stunning beauty of the beaches.
On arrival at Puri, check in to your pre booked hotel. Post lunch, leave for sightseeing in Puri, Visit the well-known Jagannath Temple- dedicated to Lord Jagannath, Gundicha Mandir- called the Garden House of Jagannath and the nearby village of the artisans.
Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 12: Puri- Bhubaneshwar (By Road-61 Kilometres)
Today after bearkfast, drive to Bhubaneswar, upon arrival transferred to the hotel. Popularly known as the "Temple City of India", this city is the Holy land of almost 500 temples. Bhubaneswar is the capital of Orissa. It is one of the most historical city of India, the history of the town is dated back to the over 3,000 years. It is the home of various ancient temples along with many historical architectures and sites.
Check in to your pre booked hotel. After freshen up, proceed to visit the temples including Champakesvara Siva Temple, Aisanyesvara Siva Temple, Rajarani Temple, Bharati Matha, Vaital Deula, Gopal Tirtha Matha, Suka Temple, Ladu Baba Temple, etc.
Return to your hotel, have your dinner and stay overnight.
Day 13: Bhubaneshwar
Today after breakfast, proceed to visit the Lalitgiri, Ratnagiri and Udayagiri , which are the Buddhists excavation sites, these three sites are called as Diamond Tringle. The existence of these sites dates back to 1st century A.D. At Lalitgiri, there is a complex of Buddhist huge sculptures, engraved Stupas, and monasteries. Ratnagiri, houses the various Buddhist sculptures, made with multi-coloured stones, are found here. Udaygiri, here is a large compound found with arranged veranda around a courtyard of 18 cells. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 14: Bhubaneshwar – Kolkata (By Flight)
After breakfast, you get an assisted transfer to the airport to board a flight to Kolkata. On arriving in Kolkata, get transferred to your pre-booked hotel. In the afternoon, visit the tourist attractions of Kolkata including the Birla Planetarium, Victoria Memorial and the Howrah Bridge. Drive past drive past the Fort Williams, the Secretariat Building and the Old Court House Street. After sightseeing return back to the hotel, rest day is free at leisure overnight stay at hotel.
Day 15: Kolkata
