Overview
‘Karnataka Wild Adventure Tour’ is well designed itinerary which gives you the chance to explore the rich wildlife of Karnataka: Bandipur National Park, Bannerghatta National Park, Nagarhole National Park and Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary, which is also known as Paksi Kashi of Karnataka, it is located on the banks of river Kaveri. Apart from this you will also explore the glorious history of Mysore while exploring the various spectacular architectures of the region. Along with that you will also explore the Ooty which is located on the foothill of Nilgiri, on the height of about 2,240 meter above sea level, it is the most beautiful hill station, located in Tamil Nadu. It is one of the most picturesque place renown for tea and coffee plantation. Apart from this you will also explore Bangalore which is also known as Silicon Valley of India, Bangalore is the capital of Karnataka state. The duration of the tour is 10 nights and 11 days, covering the places such as Bangalore-Mysore-Nagarhole-Bandipur-Ooty.
Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Bangalore Sightseeing
Upon arriving at the Bangalore Airport, meet our representative, after welcome, transfer to your hotel. It is also known as Silicon Valley of India, Bangalore is the capital of Karnataka state.
Once you reach Bangalore check-in to your pre-booked hotel. After freshen up, proceed to visit the major attractions of the city such as St. Mark's Cathedral, ISKCON Sri Radha Krishna-Chandra temple, Shivasamudram Falls, and Wonderla Amusement Park. In the evening visit to the Nandi temple and the VidhanSoudha temple. Enjoy overnight in the hotel.
Day 2: Bangalore-Bannerghatta National Park-Bangalore (By Road-22 Kilometres) Sightseeing
Today after breakfast, proceed for wildlife safari at Bannerghatta National Park, it is one of renowned sanctuary for housing tigers and lions, rescued from circuses of India. While enjoying the safari, you will spot various wild animals which will include tigers, lions, leopards, elephants, several species of deer and other animals too. Do not miss visiting the Children’s Corner, the Reptile House and the Snake Park. Back to Bangalore for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Bangalore-Mysore (By Road-145 Kilometres) Sightseeing
Today after breakfast, drive for Mysore, drive straight to Mysore. Once reach Mysore, check-in to your pre-booked hotel. Take rest for a while. Later, leave for a visit to the Mysore Maharaja Palace, also known as the Amba Vilas Palace- an Indo-Saracenic architectural style. Later, visit the Nandi or Bull Temple, located on the Chamundi hills. This temple is dedicated to Nandi, the vehicle of Lord Shiva. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 4: Mysore-Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary-Mysore (By Road-19 Kilometres) Sightseeing
The 4th day of the tour is fixed for visiting the Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary which is also known asPaksi Kashi of Karnataka, it is located on the banks of river Kaveri. Enjoy the bird watching that will include both home and migratory birds. The avifauna species you can spot include storks, herons, cormorants, egrets, darters, kingfishers etc. Along with that you will also see the crocodiles as well. Here you may enjoy a boat ride along the river.
Later, visit Balmurli Falls, a popular picnic spot. Return to Mysore for an overnight stay.
Day 5 : Mysore-Nagarhole National Park (By Road-90 Kilometres)Sightseeing
Post breakfast, leave for the Nagarhole National Park, which is located at the distance of about 90 kilometres from Mysore, the sanctuary was established in 1983, the Nagarhole National Park, also known as Rajiv Gandhi National Park, which is the home of leopard, tiger, elephant and over 250 species of birds.
On reaching at Nagarhole, check-in at your pre-booked jungle lodge. Spend the day at leisure, explore the surrounding lush greenery, enjoy the nature walk etc. Stay overnight.
Day 6: Nagarhole National Park
Today after breakfast, proceed for a wildlife safari into the national park. Mainly consists of moist grasslands sprawled across 645 square kilometres, which is the home of leopard, tiger, and elephants and over 250 species of birds. It provides ample opportunity for wildlife viewing. Stay overnight.
Day 7: Nagarhole - Bandipur (By Road - 123 kilometres) Sightseeing
Today, after breakfast, drive to Bandipur. The town is renowned for Bandipur National Park. It is one of the most popular attraction of Karnataka, it was established as a tiger reserve under Project Tiger in 1974, which is spread over 874 square kilometres, it is the home of Tigers, Indian elephants, Sloth bears, Gaurs, Indian rock pythons, Muggers and Four-horned antelopes.
On arrival at Bandipur, check in to the lodge/resorts. After freshen up. Proceed for a Jeep Safari. Later, return back to the hotel. Overnight stay in Bandipur.
Day 8: Bandipur
After breakfast, proceed for wildlife safari into the Bandipur National Park, during the safari, you are going to spot various species of animals such as Indian elephants, gaurs, tigers, sloth bears, chital, gray langurs, Indian giant squirrels and around 220 species of birds. Overnight stay.
Day 9 : Bandipur-Ooty (By Road-50 Kilometres)Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed to Ooty, Located on the foothill of Nilgiri, on the height of about 2,240 meter above sea level, it is the most beautiful hill station, located in Tamil Nadu. It is one of the most picturesque place renown for tea and coffee plantation.
On reaching, check into your pre booked hotel. Rest for a while. Post lunch, proceed for sightseeing tour of Ooty. During the tour you will cover some major attractions of the city such as Botanical Garden, Ooty Lake, Doddabetta Peak, apart from this you will also get an opportunity to shop at the local markets of Ooty. After sightseeing, return back to the hotel. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 10: Ooty Sightseeing
Today after breakfast, proceed to excursion to a Toda Tribal village, inhabited by the Todas which is a pastoral community. Here you will get an opportunity to observe and understand the culture and traditions of these tribal communities, here you can also buy the handicrafts items along with hand- woven shawls in bright colours such as red, white and black colours. If you want then you can visit the local Dairy Temple, made in a cone shape. Back to Ooty for an overnight stay.
Day 11: Ooty-Bangalore (By Road-284 Kilometres)
