Overview
‘Wayanad & Kabini Honeymoon Tour’ is well designed itinerary which give you the chance to explore some of the best destinations of Karnataka and one of the exotic destination in Kerala: Mysore, Wayanad and Kabini. During the tour, you will explore the major attractions of the places along with that you will also explore wildlife of the region at Nagarhole National Park, which is located at the distance of about 90 kilometres from Mysore, the sanctuary was established in 1983, the Nagarhole National Park, also known as Rajiv Gandhi National Park, which is the home of leopard, tiger, elephant and over 250 species of birds. Itinerary
Day 1: Bangalore – Mysore(By Road-145 Kilometres)
Upon arriving at the Bangalore Airport, meet our representative, after welcome, transfer to your hotel. It is also known as Silicon Valley of India, Bangalore is the capital of Karnataka state.
Today after breakfast, drive for Mysore, drive straight to Mysore. Once reach Mysore, check-in to your pre-booked hotel. Take rest for a while. Later, leave for a visit to the Mysore Maharaja Palace, also known as the Amba Vilas Palace- an Indo-Saracenic architectural style. Later, visit the Nandi or Bull Temple, located on the Chamundi hills. This temple is dedicated to Nandi, the vehicle of Lord Shiva. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 2: Mysore – Wayanad (By Road-131 Kilometres)
After breakfast, head to the rainforest region of Wayanad. On reaching at Wayanad, check in at your pre booked hotel. After freshen up, you will proceed for Chembra Peak, This is one of the most prime attraction of Wayanad. It is most popular among the adventure lovers, it is the main hub for trekking in Wayanad. It offers a distinctive character of Wayanad. It is the highest hill in Wayanad, which is located near Meppady. You can see the stunning view of the entire Wayanad from Chembra Peak.
You have to take a hike up the peak and on the way, you will find the gorgeous lake which is in a shape of a heart. After exploring the destination, return back to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: Wayanad
Today after breakfast, proceed for sightseeing. Visit the Pookot Lake which this stunning lake is located at in the wooded hills of the Wayanad region. It one of the most popular picnic spot. It is fresh water lake, which is spread over 8.5 hectares. The main tourist attractions near lake are such as a children’s park, a fresh water aquarium as well as spices and handicrafts emporium.
You will be thrilled to see the Soojipara Falls. This one of the most beautiful waterfall, located at Soochippara near Meppadi. The water flowing from about 100 to 300 feet height, surrounded by lush greenery. You can do water rafting, swimming, bathing here.
Further you go on to visit the Bansura sagar, it is located at the distance of about 15 kilometres away from Kalpetta. It is the India’s largest dam, built on Banasura Lake, on the foot hill of Banasura. It is one of the most popular picnic spot along with that you can also enjoy the boating here. You also visit the Pakshipathalam and Meenmutty waterfalls, which are also equally beautiful. After a long day of adventure, return back to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 4: Wayanad – Kabini (By Road-30 Kilometres)
Today after having the breakfast, and then leave for Kabini, which is known as the elephant country as some of 1,500 elephants roam free in the forest of Nagarhole, of which is a primary part of Kabini.
On reaching at Kabini, check in to your pre booked resort. Post lunch, proceed for Jungle Safari at Nagarhole National Park. Nagarhole National Park, which is located at the distance of about 90 kilometres from Mysore, the sanctuary was established in 1983, the Nagarhole National Park, also known as Rajiv Gandhi National Park, which is the home of leopard, tiger, elephant and over 250 species of birds.
After exploring the wildlife, return back to the hotel. Have your dinner, retire to your room and stay overnight.
Day 5: Kabini – Bangalore (By Road-150 Kilometres)
