The duration of the tour is 11 nights and 12 days, which gives you the chance to explore the main attractions of the place.
Itinerary
Day 1: Coimbatore –Ooty (By Road-90 Kilometres)
Upon arrival at Coimbatore airport, meet our representative. After welcome, proceed to Ooty, located on the foothill of Nilgiri, on the height of about 2,240 meter above sea level, it is the most beautiful hill station, located in Tamil Nadu. It is one of the most picturesque place renown for tea and coffee plantation.
On reaching, check into your pre-booked hotel. Rest for a while. Post lunch, proceed for sightseeing tour of Ooty. During the tour you will cover some major attractions of the city such as Botanical Garden, Ooty Lake, Doddabetta Peak, apart from this you will also get an opportunity to shop at the local markets of Ooty. After sightseeing, return back to the hotel. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 2: Ooty
Post breakfast, proceed for the tour of in and around Ooty, including Koddandu Point, Ketty Valley, Lamb’s Park, Rose Garden, Avalanche and Sim’s Park. After sightseeing, return back to the Ooty. Rest day is free at leisure, you may explore the stunning surroundings at you won. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 3: Ooty – Coonoor – Ooty (By Road-20 Kilometres)
Post breakfast, head towards Coonoor. It is one of most beautiful hill station which is located at the distance around 20 kilometres from Ooty. Enjoy the major sightseeing’s of the Conoor, cover the major attractions such as The Tea Gardens, Sim's Park, and Dolphin's Nose Military Campus Willington. After sightseeing, return back to the Ooty. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 4: Ooty–Kodaikanal (By Road-254 Kilometres)
Today after breakfast, you head towards Kodaikanal. It is also known as the princess of the hill in southern part of India. This spectacular hill station is located in Tamil Nadu, on the foothill of upper Palani Hills at the height of about 2,133 metres. The Palani hills roll outwards towards green vistas dotted with lakes.
On reaching there you check in at the hotel. Rest day is free at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 5: Kodaikanal
Post breakfast, proceed for the Local tour of Kodaikanal that takes you to Kodai Lake, Silver Cascade, and Bear Shoal Falls. Evening is reserved for shopping.
Apart from this you will cover some other major attractions such as Silver Cascade Falls, Bear Shola Falls, Golf Links, Pillar Rocks and Green Valley View. After sightseeing, return back to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 6: Kodaikanal
Today after breakfast, proceed to exploring the scenic locations of Kodaikanal. To begin with, visit the beautiful Coaker’s Walk which is a captivating walkway.
The walkway offers picturesque view of the valley. Spend the rest of the day at leisure in this beautiful hill station. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 7: Kodaikanal–Munnar (By Road-160 Kilometres)
Today after an early breakfast, drive to Munnar, it is one of the most picturesque hill station in the Idukki district of Kerala which offers the stunning view of the tea plantations and Cardamom hills.
On reaching at Munnar, check into the hotel. Rest of the day is free at leisure or you can explore the spectacular surroundings of the town. Stay overnight in Munnar.
Day 8: Munnar
After breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Munnar., you will visit the major attractions Including Christ Church which was established in 1910 by the British, visit Eravikulam National Park which is the home of Nilgiri Tahrafpart from this is also vast flora and fauna.
Then explore Mattupetty DamIt is located at the distance of 13 kilometres away from Munnar. This 160 feet high dam has vast reservoir extending several kilometres into the hill. Cruising here is an amazing experience. It is offering occasional sightings of elephant, gaur as well as sambar and Anamudi peak it located at the elevation of 2695 meter above the sea level, the peak is located within Eravikulam, you may also get a trekking opportunities here.Stay overnight in Munnar.
Day 9: Munnar – Periyar (By Road-85 Kilometres)
Today after having an early breakfast, proceed for Periyar to go to Periyar National Park which renowned tiger and elephant reserve which is located at Idukki districts and Pathanamthitta in Kerala. The sanctuary is surrounded with dense forest and grass lands.
On arrival, check into a jungle lodge. After freshen up, explore the Periyar National park by boat. Enjoy bird watching while boat riding on the Periyar Lake where you can spot both resident and migratory birds. Night stay in the lodge.
Day 10: Periyar–Kumarakom (By Road-135 Kilometres)
After breakfast leave by road for Kumarakom to visit Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. Protected by a thick cluster of mangroves, the bird sanctuary spread across 14 acres and home to over 180 species of birds. It is best to visit on foot by one and half kilometres on walking trek, where you are likely to spot heron, darters, water duck, waterfowl, owl, cuckoo and Siberian cranes.Later, check in at the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 11: Kumarakom (Backwater Cruise) - Alleppey (By Road-32 kilometres)
After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing of Kumarakom, enjoy the backwater cruise on the placid waters of Lake Vembanad. Explore the Kettuvallaum which is a traditional houseboat.
Later in the day, proceed to Kottayam to board the beautiful traditional houseboats for an overnight backwater cruise.
Day 12: Alleppey– Cochin (By Road-53 Kilometres)
On reaching Alleppey and after breakfast, proceed for local tour of Alleppeyfor half day. After sightseeing, get transferred to the railway station or the airport to board a flight or train for your onward journey.
