Itinerary
Day 1: Trivandrum – Kovalam(By Road-19 kilometres)
Upon arrival at the Trivandrum airport, meet our representative, after welcome, proceed to Kovalam. Kovalam is arguably Kerala’s most popular tourist destination. It is one of the most beautiful beach town located at the shore of Arabian Sea.
On reaching Kovalam check-in at the hotel. Rest for a while. Post lunch, move out to explore the picturesque Kovalam beaches. Here you can enjoy some water sports such as Surfing, boat ride. In the evening return to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2: Kovalam
Today after breakfast, enjoy the herbal massage in the beach resort. Evening is free at leisure, you may explore the stunning surroundings at your own. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3: Kovalam – Kollam(By Road-79 Kilometres)
After having an early breakfast, proceed for Kollam by road. Quilon, which is also known as Kollam, which is one of the tiny and spectacular town, located on the bank of Ashtamudi Lake. It was ancient trading town for spices. It is known as cashew processing and coir manufacturing. It is the one of fourth most popular city of the state of Kerala. Ashtamudi Lake is the known as a gateway to the backwaters of Kerala. Kollam can be seen as sandwiched between the Arabian Sea and Ashtamudi Lake.
On reaching Kollam, check into the scenic backwater resort, known as Ashtamudi Lake. Rest day is free at leisure overnight stay at backwater resort.
Day 4: Kollam –Alleppey (By Road-87 Kilometres)
Today have an early morning breakfast, after breakfast, proceed to Alleppey. Alappuzha also known as Alleppey. It is one of the oldest planned city of the Kerala, located about 75 kilometres away from Kochi and about 155 kilometres from Trivandrum. It is one of the popular tourist destination of India. It is famous for backwaters. There are at least six navigable canals in the town.
Upon arrival at Alleppey, check-in at the houseboat. The houseboat has well-equipped rooms with all modern comforts. Overnight at Alleppey.
Day 5: Alleppey – Periyar(By Road-150 Kilometres)
Today after having an early breakfast, leave by road towards Periyar National Park in Thekkady.Periyar National Park’, which is the most popular tourist destination of Kerala.
Upon arrival at Periyar, check in to the resort, after freshen up explore the sanctuary which is surrounded with dense forest and grass lands. It is home of Indian tigers, elephants, lion tailed macaques, gaurs, deer, sambars apart from this 45 species of reptiles , 30 species of snakes, 13 lizard species. Day 6: Periyar Sightseeing
Today after having an early breakfast, boat cruise in the Periyar Lake. Post lunch explore the spice plantations. Stay overnight in Periyar.
Day 7: Periyar - Cochin (By Road-162 kilometres)
After breakfast, proceed to Cochin. Cochin is one of the most important city of Kerala which is also known as Cochin. Located on the south-west coast in Kerala which is also known as the Gateway to Kerala, situated on the Arabian Sea. The city was also influenced by British, Dutch, and Portuguese, who has left their indelible marks which is spread over the city through the beautiful architecture, culture and traditions. We can still feel the essence of the cultural diversity.
Upon arrival check in to the hotel. Post lunch, enjoy the boat ride. Later, proceed to visit some major attractions of Cochin such as the oldest Synagogue, Chinese fishing nets, St Francis Church and Mattancherry Palace. Stay overnight at the city hotel.
Day 8: Cochin (Departure)
