Overview
‘Cultural and Heritage Tour of Assam, West Bengal and Orissa’ is well designed itinerary which gives you the chance to explore the major attractions of Orissa and North East. During this tour you will explore Kaziranga wildlife Reserve, Guwahati and Jorhat. Apart from this you will also explore the two major cities of Orissa such as Bhubaneshwar & Puri. Bhubaneshwar is popularly known as the "Temple City of India", this city is the Holy land of almost 500 temples. Bhubaneswar is the capital of Orissa. Puri is another popular historical city of Orissa. This beautiful city is located on the Bay of Bengal. It is also known as JagannathPuri, which is named after the 11th-century Jagannath Temple. It is the holiest pilgrim site for Hindus, which comes under Char Dham. Apart from this this town is also offers the various historic antiquities, architectural grandeur and stunning beauty of the beaches. During this tour you will explore the major attractions of Bhubaneshwar and Puri along with Konark Sun Temple, which is located at the distance of about 35 kilometres from Puri . It is a World Heritage Site, which was built in the 13th century, now mostly in ruins. The collection of its sculptures is housed in the Sun Temple Museum. This museum is managed by Archaeological Survey of India. The duration of the tour is 11 nights and 12 days covering the places such as Kolkata, Guwahati, Kaziranga, Jorhat, Kolkata, Bhubaneswar and Puri.
Itinerary
Day 1: Kolkata
Upon arrival at the Kolkata airport, meet our representative. After welcome, proceed to the hotel. Check in to your pre booked hotel. Rest day is free at leisure. You may explore the surroundings at your own.
Overnight at Kolkata.
Day 2: Kolkata Sightseeing
Today after breakfast, proceed to visit the major attractions of Kolkata. Visit Victoria Marble Palace, Metro Rail, Science City, Memorial Hall,Mother Teresa Home, Belur Math, China Town and RabindraSetu etc. In the eveningattending the prayer ceremony at the Kali temple. After sightseeing return back to the hotel.

Day 3: Kolkata – Guwahati (By flight)
After having an early breakfast, transfer to Kolkata airport to board a flight to Guwahati. On arrival at Guwahati, check in to the hotels.
After freshen up, proceed to explore the major attractions of Guwahati including Assam State Museum, Pandu, Bhubaneshwari temple, Basistha Ashram and the Kamakhya temple. In the evening visit the Sualkuchi Village, which is located at the distance of about 32 kilometres from Guwahati. This village is renowned for Golden Muga Silk. After sightseeing rerun back to the hotel.
Overnight stay at Guwahati.
Day 4: Guwahati - Kaziranga(By Road-194 Kilometres)
Post breakfast, drive to Kaziranga National Park by road. Kaziranga National Park is one of the most popular national park, located in in the Golaghat and Nagaon districts of the state of Assam. A UNESCO World Heritage site is famed for being the last undisturbed habitat of great one-horned rhinoceroses.On reaching Kaziranga National Park check-in at your pre booked forest resorts. After taking some rest, proceed to explore Kaziranga National Park and enjoy a jeep safari.
In the evening enjoy the tribal dance performance. Have dinner at resort.

Day 5: Kaziranga
Today early morning, proceed to explore the eastern zone of Kaziranga National Park. Enjoy the national park to seating on back of elephant. Apart from the Rhino, it is also the home of some other species such as swamp deer, wild buffalo, hog deer and elephants. There are a number of water bodies inside the Park.
After visit, return to the resort for breakfast. Afternoon, proceed for jeep safari through the Central Zone of the National Park. Evening come back to the hotel.
Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 6: Kaziranga – Jorhat (By Road-113 Kilometres)
After having an early breakfast, proceed to Jorhat. Upon arrival at Jorhat, check in at your pre booked hotel. Take rest for a while. Then proceed to explore the major tourist attractions of Jorhat include LachitBorphukan'sMaidam, Majuli, DhekiakhowaBornamghar,ChandrakantaHandiqueBhavan and the ThengalBhawan.After sightseeing, return back to the hotel.

Day 7: Jorhat – Kolkata (By flight)
Today Post breakfast, transfer to the Jorhat airport to board the flight to Kolkata. Once you reach Kolkata airport, transfer to one of your pre-booked hotel. Rest day is free at leisure. Overnight stay at Kolkata.
Day 8: Kolkata – Bhubaneswar (By flight)
After breakfast, transfer to Kolkata airport to take a flight to Bhubaneswar. On your arrival at Bhubaneswar Airport/Railway Station, meet our representative and transferred to the hotel. Popularly known as the "Temple City of India", this city is the Holy land of almost 500 temples. Bhubaneswar is the capital of Orissa.
Check in to your pre booked hotel. After freshen up, proceed to visit the temples including Champakesvara Siva Temple, Aisanyesvara Siva Temple, Rajarani Temple, BharatiMatha, VaitalDeula, Gopal TirthaMatha, Suka Temple, Ladu Baba Temple, etc. Return to your hotel, have your dinner and stay overnight.
Day 9: Bhubaneswar Sightseeing
Today after breakfast, proceed to visit the Lalitgiri and Ratnagiri, which are the Buddhists excavation sites, these three sites are called as Diamond Tringle. The existence of these sites dates back to 1st century A.D. At Lalitgiri, there is a complex of Buddhist huge sculptures, engraved Stupas, and monasteries. Ratnagiri, houses the various Buddhist sculptures, made with multi-coloured stones, are found here. Udaygiri, here is a large compound found with arranged veranda around a courtyard of 18 cells. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 10: Bhubaneswar – Puri (By Road-63 Kilometres)
After having an early breakfast, proceed to visit Jain Cave, which is located on the twin hills of Khandagiri and Udayagiri. This cave was built in 2nd century BC - 1st century AD during the Chedi dynasty.
After visiting the Jain cave, drive to Puri. It is one of the most historical city of Orissa, which is located on the Bay of Bengal. It is also known as JagannathPuri, which is named after the 11th-century Jagannath Temple. It is the holiest pilgrim site for Hindus, which comes under Char Dham. Apart from this this town is also offers the various historic antiquities, architectural grandeur and stunning beauty of the beaches.
On arrival at Puri, check in to your pre booked hotel. Rest day is free at leisure, you may explore surroundings along with the nearby markets and enjoy the mouth-watering street food. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 11: Puri Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed to Konark Sun Temple, which is located at the distance of about 35 kilometres from Puri . It is a World Heritage Site, which was built in the 13th century, now mostly in ruins. The collection of its sculptures is housed in the Sun Temple Museum. This museum is managed by Archaeological Survey of India.
After visiting the sun temple, proceed to visit Jagannath temple. This is a very popular temple dedicated to Lord Jagannath. Also visit the sunny beach at Puri. This beach is considered as one of the finest in the world. Later, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 12: Puri – Bhubaneswar (By Road-63 Kilometres)
