Deccan Odyssey is based on the model of Palace on Wheels. It is a special luxury train, which was launched to promote the tourism on the Maharashtra route of the Indian Railways. It is a joint venture of the Ministry of Railways and Maharashtra Government. It covers major tourist destinations of the region and the itinerary starts in Mumbai then back to Mumbai. During this tour you will explore Goa is one of the most popular beach destination located in the West India region of the Konkan. The city was influenced by British, Dutch, and Portuguese. Day 01: Wednesday: Mumbai - Chattrapati Shivaji Terminus Departure
Welcome with royal tradition by garlanding, tikka and welcome drinks. In the evening you will be boarding at Deccan Odyssey at Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus. Have your favorite drinks and dinner on board.

Day 02: Thursday: Kudal Railway Station – Arrival 07.30 Am Sindhudurg – 9:30 Am -11:30 Am,Tarkarli– 2:00 Pm–03:00 Pm(Lunch and Leisure) Dhamapur (Ac Coach)–Cashew Factory–04:15 Pm–06:15 Pm
Have your breakfast in the morning and arrive to Kudal Railway Station. Take your breakfast on board. Then we will go for boating experience in a Jetty from Malavan Settle. Inside the Boat Jetty from Malavan Pier arranged just for you, and enjoy the mesmerizing views of nature and waves caressing the mighty Sindhudurg, the sea fort. Then visit toTarkarli beach which is known as virgin beach. Enjoy the beach and then in the evening, visit the Cashew factory of Dhamapur and pay respect to the ancient lakeside temples of Bhagwati and Sateri Goddess. Dinner on board and then depart from the station for Goa.

Day 03: Friday: Karmali Railway Station, Goa-Arrival-07:30 Am Departure at 09:15 Pm
Arrive at Karmali Railway station, Goa. Have your breakfast and proceed for Goa sightseeing and visit the Basilica of Bom Jesus, Se Cathedral and the Church of St. Francis of Assisi. Then visit the old Portuguese Style Houses. Have lunch on board the train. In the evening we will visit the beach hotel and enjoy Goan culture and traditional meals. Overnight Train halts at Vasco, Goa.

Have your breakfast and proceed for Goa sightseeing and visit Mangeshi Temple which is dedicated to Lord Shiva and explore the architecture of old temples. Then we will depart to Safa Masjid, a Islamic shrine in Ponda, famous for hindu pilgrimage tour in Goa. Then proceed towards the biggest and finest spice farms in the Country, “Sahakari Spice Farm” at Ponda village. This organic spice farm has variety of herbal and medicinal trees. The guide explains different spices and their medical values during tour. Take your lunch and after that you can go for elephant ride which will be at personal expenses. Then proceed to Madgaon Railway Station to board the train. Dinner will be served on board. Then depart for Kolhapur.

Day 05: Sunday: Arrival Kolhapur 8:35 Am – Depart 01:40Pm
Have your breakfast and arrive at Kolhapur City. Then we will visit the New Palace, a royal palace which is now converted into museum. Next visit to Bhawani Mandap, and then we will visit the Mahalaxmi Temple, a temple of goddess Ambabai which is also famous for pilgrimage tour. Then we will visit to Shalini Palace. Have lunch in the afternoon. After that you can go for shopping. Dinner on board and depart for Daulatabad.

Day 06: Monday: Arrival Daulatabad Station 6:45 Am 7:45 Am – 12:30 Pm– Daulatabad Fort and Ellora Caves 03:30 Pm – 05:00 Bibi Ka Maqbara Departure – Jalgaon 06:00 Pm
Have your breakfast and arrive at Daulatabad. Then visit the Fort Daulatabad. Then you will proceed to Aurangabad and visit the Ellora caves, a World Heritage site, having 34 cave temples dedicated to three different religions. Also visit the Viharas, or monasteries of Hindu and Jain temples. Take your lunch and then visit the Bibi-ka-Maqbara, a replica of Taj Mahal is a grand piece of Mughal architecture. We can go for shopping. Dinner is served on board and depart to Jalgaon Railway Station.

Day 07: Tuesday: Morning – Arrival Jalgaon Railway Station 7:00 Am – At 7:30 Am Ajanta Caves, 01:15 Pm Departure Nasik, 10:30 Pm
Have your breakfast in the morning and arrive at Jalgaon Railway Station. After the breakfast on board, we will visit the caves of Ajanta which is the World Heritage Site. It is famous for finest paintings and sculptures. In the afternoon, we will proceed to Nashik. Have your lunch on board. Then visit to Panchawari Ghat which is famous for holy place known for Kumbh Mela, then visit to Kala Ram Temple. Then board train at Deolali Railway Station. Then depart for Mumbai.

Have your breakfast in the morning and arrive at Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Railway Station. Check out from the luxurious Deccan Odyssey Train and transfer to the airport to board flight for onward journey. We wish you for a safe journey.
