Overview
‘Splendours of Central India with Gujarat Tour’ is well designed itinerary which gives you the chance to explore Madhya Pradesh along with Gujrat, Agra. The duration of the tour is 14 nights and 15 days covering the places such as Mumbai, Bhavnagar, Ahmadabad, Ujjain, Mandu, Indore, Bhopal, Gwalior and Agra / Delhi.
Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Mumbai
Upon arrival in Mumbai, meet our representative, after welcome proceed to the hotel. Mumbai is one of the 6th largest and populated Megacity of the world which is known as the financial, commercial and entertainment capital of India. The city is renowned for its vibrant lifestyle, which conceded as the city that never sleeps.
Check in to the hotel. Rest day is free at leisure. Enjoy the nightlife of the colourful city, explore the Chowpatty beach and test the mouth-watering street foods. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2: Mumbai Sightseeing
Today after breakfast, proceed for sightseeing in and Mumbai. Visit the Elephanta Caves, on Elephanta Island, transports you back 6th and 7th century centuries. The magnificent rock-cut carvings here are some of the most spectacular you will get to see anywhere. The other visits of the day will be the Gateway of India, Juhu Beach and some shoot locations of Bollywood. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 03: Mumbai - Bhavnagar (By Flight)
Today after having an early breakfast, board a flight to Bhavnagar. Upon arrival at Bhavnagar, check in at hotel. Take rest for a while, then proceed for city tour of Bhavnagar. The city located in Gujarat, is offered with a number of lakes and Hindu temples.
Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 04: Bhavnagar
After having an breakfast, proceed to explore Palitana is an important pilgrimage site for Jainism. It is the home of approximately 800 Jain Temples which is located on Shatrunjaya Hill. The most popular of them is the one dedicated to Shri Adishwara, the First Jain Apostle. Overnight at hotel.
Day 05: Bhavnagar – Ahmedabad(By Road-180 Kilometres)– Ujjain(By Train)Sightseeing
After breakfast, drive to Ahmedabad. Upon arrival, check in at your pre booked hotel. After freshen up, proceed for a sightseeing tour around the city, visit the major attractions of the city including Calico Museum that showcases variety Indian textiles. Also visit Jama Masjid, Sidi Bashir's Mosque, Rani Rupmati's Mosque and the Narayan Temple.
Later board the overnight train to Ujjain from the Ahmedabad Railway station.
Day 06: Arrival Ujjain (Sightseeing)
Upon arrival in Ujjain, our representative will assist you to check into the hotel. Take a rest for a while, then proceed for sightseeing tour of Ujjain. Visit to BadeGaneshjiKaMandir, Harsiddhi Temple, VikramKirtiMandir etc. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 07: Ujjain –Mandu (By Road-138 Kilometres)Sightseeing
Upon arrival at Indore airport/ railway station, meet our representative, after welcome, transfer to Mandu. After reaching Mandu, check-in to the hotel. Take rest for a while, then proceed for sightseeing including Jahaz Mahal, Jami Masjid, Hindola Mahal, Baz Bahadur’s Palace, RewaKund etc. After sightseeing return back to the hotel.
Overnight stay at Mandu.
Day 8: Mandu- Dhar- Mandu (By Road-36 Kilometres)Excursion Tour
Today after having breakfast, proceed for excursion to Dhar. Visit the popular attractions of the place which include Dhar Fort and Bhojashala Mosque. Enjoy sightseeing and then head back to Mandu. Stay overnight at Mandu.
Day 09: Mandu - Maheshwar (By Road-45 Kilometres) – Omkareshwar (By Road-66 Kilometres) – Indore (By Road-79 Kilometres)Sightseeing
Today after breakfast, proceed to visit to the holy Mahakaleshwar Temple. Then drive to Omkareshwar, en-route take a halt at Maheshwar and explore the major attractions here.
Then proceed to visit Omkareshwar temple. After visit, resume your drive to Indore. Upon arrival at Indore, check in to the hotel.
Overnight stay in Indore.
Day 10: Indore – Bhopal (By Road-194 Kilometres)
Today after an early breakfast, proceed to enjoy a sightseeing of Indore. Later drive to Bhopal.On arrival at Bhopal, check-in at the hotel. Rest day is free at leisure. Explore the nearby places at your own. Overnight at hotel.
Day 11: Bhopal Sightseeing
Post breakfast, proceed for a Day-trip to Sanchi, a famous Buddhist site that houses stupas, chaityas and monasteries. These structures are an excellent example of Buddhist art. After visit return back to the hotel in Bhopal. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 12: Bhopal - Gwalior (By Train) Sightseeing
After having an early breakfast, proceed for the city tour of Bhopal, Visit the Bhopal Bharat Bhavan, Indira Gandhi RashtriyaManavSangrahalaya etc. After sightseeing transferred to the Bhopal railway station. Board a train to reach Gwalior. Upon arrival at Gwalior, check in to the hotel.
Overnight at hotel in Gwalior.
Day 13: Gwalior – Agra (By Road-120 Kilometres)Sightseeing
Today after having an early breakfast, proceed for city tour of Gwalior, Visit Gwalior Fort, which was built by Raja Man Singh Tomar, Mughal Emperor Babur was described it as "The pearl in the necklace of the forts of Hind". Also visit the Scindia.Later, head for Agra and check into the hotel on arrival. Rest day is free at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 14: Agra – Delhi(By Road-231 Kilometres)Sightseeing
After breakfast take a sightseeing tour of Agra. Visit Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Itmad-ud-Daula's Tomb. Drive to Delhi in the afternoon and check into the hotel on arrival.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 15: Delhi
Today is the last day of the tour. After breakfast, transferred to the airport to board a flight back home.
