Rapid Golden Triangle I had a wonderful experience in Golden Triangle Tour of North India! The trip was great! Everything worked very well The travel itself was well elaborated, the hotels were very well equilibration, from the more basic ones to the luxury resorts as the Dune or the Taj Malabar in Cochin. A very special experience was the trip on the boat (Spice Coast Cruises) -> simply great!

Overview

Gangtok is one of the largest city of Sikkim. Located at the height of 5500 feet, on the foothill of lower Himalayas. It is the capital of the state of Sikkim. The city offers a breath-taking view of the Khangchendzonga. The ethnic diversity of this boarder land is visible in the mix of Tibetans, Bhutias, Lepchas and Nepalese in the populations.It is a centre of Tibetan Buddhist culture and learning.

We are pleased to offer you the ‘Splendour Himalaya’, which will give you the chance to explore the one of the most beautiful city of Sikkim. During the tour you will visit the major attractions of the city along with that you will also get an opportunity to explore the culture and tradition of India.

Itinerary

Day 01: New Jalpaiguri railway station /Bagdogra Airport to Gangtok (By Road - 130 kms / 4 hrs)

Upon arrival at NJP Railway station / IXB airport, meet our representative & transfer to Gangtok by road, which is located at about 130 kms from New Jalpaiguri railway station / Bagdogra Airport.
Upon arrival at Gangtok. Check in tothe hotel. Rest day is free at leisure. Overnight stay will be at Gangtok.

Day 02: Gangtok Sightseeing

Today after breakfast, proceed for a Full day city tour covering, Ganesh Tok, Tashi View, Hanumak Tok, Rumtek Monastery, Do-Drul Chorten, Research Institute of Tibetology, Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom, Banjhakri falls and Flower Show.
After city tour, return back to the hotel. Overnight stay will be at Gangtok.

Day 03: Gangtok Sightseeing

After breakfast, Start for a half day trip of Tsomgo Lake, which is located at the height of 12,400 feet from sea level& Baba Harbhajan Singh Memorial which is located at the height of 13200 feet from sea level, located at the distance of 52 kms from Gangtok city. Tsomgo Lake freezes completely during the winter and is much revered by the locals. Overnight stay will be at Gangtok.

Day 04: Gangtok - New Jalpaiguri railway station /Bagdogra Airport (By Road - 130 kms / 4 hrs)

Today is the last day of the tour. After breakfast, check out from hotel in time and take the departure transfer to NJP railway station / IXB airport for your onward journey. We hope you have enjoyed your trip and look forward to organizing your next tour with us.
