Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrival in Mumbai Sightseeing
Upon arrival in Mumbai, meet our representative, after welcome proceed to the hotel. Mumbai is one of the 6th largest and populated Megacity of the world which is known as the financial, commercial and entertainment capital of India. The city is renowned for its vibrant lifestyle, which conceded as the city that never sleeps.
Check in to the hotel. Rest day is free at leisure. In the evening visit Juhu and Chowpatty Beaches and enjoy the beach. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2 : Mumbai-Mysore (By Flight) Sightseeing
Next morning post breakfast, transfer to Mumbai airport to board a flight to Bangalore. Upon reaching Bangalore airport, drive straight to Mysore.On the way visit Srirangapatna- the capital of Hyder Ali and his son Tipu Sultan. Visit Tipu's Palace that is now in ruins, Gumbaz- the burial chamber of Tipu Sultan, his father Haider Ali and mother Fatima Begum and lastly, Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace, known as Dariya Daulat Palace.
Once reach Mysore, check-in to your pre-booked hotel. Take rest for a while. Post lunch enjoy a sightseeing tour of Mysore including Golden Royal Elephant, Brindavan Gardens, Mysore Zoo and the Durbar hall. Have your dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 3 : Mysore Sightseeing
Post breakfast; explore the Maharaja Palace, also known as Mysore Palace or the Amba Vilas Palace - official residence of Wodeyars, the royal family of Mysore. Afterwards, visit the Nandi or Bull temple at the Chamundi Hills- a temple dedicated to Nandi (Bull), the vehicle of Lord Shiva. The next visit is to St. Philomena's Church - one of the oldest churches in India. Back to Mysore for visiting the Mysore Zoo. Overnight stay.
Day 4 : Mysore
After breakfast, rest day is free at leisure, you can explore the city atyour won, and you can roam around the near places or market. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5 : Mysore-Chikmagalur (By Road-176 Kilometres)Sightseeing
Today after having an early breakfast, drive down to Chikmagalur. Stop midway to visit the Jain pilgrimage sites at Shravanbelagola, noted for its 17 meter high statue of Lord Gomateshvara. After the visit, continue your drive to Chikmagalur. As you reach Chikmagalur, check in to the hotel. Rest day is free at leisure. Have dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 6 : Chikmagalur
Post breakfast, take a leisurely walk to explore Chikmagalur city. It was in Chikmagalur that coffee was first cultivated in India. Enjoy the stunning views of the town which makes it haven for the travellers. Visit the lush green coffee plantation hills. Also visit Horanadu and Baha Budan Giri the major tourist attractions of Chikmagalur. Stay the night at the hotel.
Day 7 : Chikmangalur-Hospet (By Road-284 Kilometres) Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed to Hospet by road. Check in to the hotel, once you reach Hospet. After freshen up, proceed to visit the popular Tungabhadra Dam. Later in the day, visit the major tourist attraction of Hospet covering Royal Place, Lotus Mahal, Vittala temple and the Archaeological Museum. In the evening you may visit Anantashayana temple, located at the eastern fringe of Hospet.
Day 8 : Hospet-Hampi (By Road-12 Kilometres) Sightseeing
Post breakfast, begin your one hour drive towards Hampi, situated within the ruins of the Vijayanagara Empire. This UNESCO world heritage site, is the remains of the largest empire in India’s history.
Upon arrival at Hampi, check in to the hotel, then proceed to explore the remains of the kingdom that include Virupaksha Temple, Uddana Veerabhadra temple etc. Stay the night at hotel to enjoy a sumptuous dinner and overnight stay.
Day 9 : Hampi-Hospet (By Road-12 Kilometres)
Today after breakfast, return to Hospet by road. On arrival at Hospet, check-in at your pre booked hotel. Rest day is free at leisure. Have your dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 10 : Hospet-Badami (By Road-146 Kilometres) Sightseeing
Have your breakfast and leave for Badami. Now an obscure village, Badami was once a glorious city, earlier known as Vatapi, it is well-known for rock cut as well as other structural temples.
On arriving, check in at your hotel. Explore the surroundings that will include cave temples, gateways, forts, inscriptions and sculptures. Overnight stay Badami.
Day 11 : Badami Sightseeing
Today after having the breakfast, proceed to Pattadakal and Aihole Temples. Both these complexes house a number of ancient temples and are UNSECO world heritage sites as well. The temples here are a mix of Dravidian, Northern and Indo-Aryan architecture.
After visiting the temples of the both places, return back to Badami for overnight stay.
Day 12 : Badami-Goa (By flight) Sightseeing
Post breakfast, transfer to airport to board a flight to Goa. It is one of the most popular beach destination located in the West India region of the Konkan. Upon arrival at Goa, check into the hotel, after freshen up, and proceed for sightseeing tour of Goa. You will cover the major attractions of Goa which cover today are Basilica of Bom Jesus, Chapel Of St. Catherine and Church of St. Francis of Assisi. Do not miss the seafood and the local Goan delicacies. Overnight stay.
Day 13 : Goa Sightseeing
After breakfast in the morning, proceed for a full day guided sightseeing tour of North and South Goa. Explore the Panjim city, visit some major attractions such as Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church, Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary and Goa Science Centre. Later, return back to the hotel for night stay.
Day 14 : Goa Sightseeing
Today after breakfast, proceed for sightseeing. You will cover Aguada Fort, Church of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary as well as Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary. Explore the wildlife of the region. Back to the hotel for night stay.
Day 15 : Goa
Post breakfast, proceed for tour to South Goa. Here explore the major tourist attractions of South Goa include Santa Durga Temple, Mangeshi Temple, Colva Beach etc. In the evening return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 16 : Goa-Mumbai (By Flight)
