Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Chennai-Tirupati (By Road-135 Kilometres)
Upon arrival at Chennai airport, meet our representative who will help you take a transfer to Tirupati. It is one of the holiest Hindu pilgrimage site, located in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh. It is renowned for Tirumala Venkateswara Temple, which is located in the Tirumala hills, at an elevation of 853 metres. It is situated about 22 kilometres away from the town.
En-route, visit the famous Srikalahasti Temple which is located in Srikalahasti. This holy town is located on the banks of River Swarnamukhi. After Darshan, head forward to Tirupati.
After reaching Tirupati, check-in to the hotel. Have your dinner and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel in Tirupati.
Day 2: Tirupati-Tirumala-Tirupati (By Road-22 Kilometres)
After having your breakfast, head towards Tirumala. Tirumala is located near Tirupati in the Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh. Here, seek blessings of Lord Balaji early in the morning.Thirumala’s Sri Venkateshwara Temple is arguably the second richest and most visited temples in India. The temple is devoted to lord Vishnu.
After Darshan, visit the other temples of Tirumala, including Padmavathi Temple and Sri KalyanaVenkateswaraswami temple, apart from these temples also visit KapilTheertham. KapilaTheertham is a beautiful temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.
Return to the hotel for dinner after this long day. Have a comfortable overnight stay.
Day 3: Tirupati-Pondicherry (By Road-240 Kilometres)
After breakfast, drive towards Pondicherry. Puducherry (previously called Pondicherry) charms tourists with its three lined avenues, painted colonial buildings and sea breeze. In 1974, the French built a base here.
Upon reaching Pondicherry, check-in to your pre booked hotel, after freshen up, and embark on a sightseeing tour of Pondicherry including Pondicherry Museum and the Nineteenth Century Light House. In the evening return to the hotel. Have your dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4: Pondicherry
Post breakfast, proceed for sightseeing in Pondicherry. The attractions that you visit today include the Sacred Heart Church, the Rai Niwas and Sri Aurobindo Ashram. Apart from being a religious site, Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus is an oriental specimen of Gothic style of architecture.
The other attraction, Raj Niwas, is the official residence of the Lieutenant Governor of Pondicherry. The last attraction of the day is Sri Aurobindo Ashram, founded by Sri Aurobindo, way back in the year 1926. This spiritual community is flocked by a huge number of visitors all-round the year. Day 5: Pondicherry-Chennai (By Road-170 Kilometres)
