Shimla boats lovely deodar forests and mountain views, combining the beauty of the majestic Himalayas with the sleepy charm of a hill town. Manali is one of the most popular hill stations in India and is known for its snow clad mountains and impenetrable pinewood forests. It is situated at about 270 kilometer from Shimla. Itinerary
Day 1: Delhi - Shimla
On arrival pick up from Delhi Railway station/Airport. After meet & greet services proceed to Shimla, perched at 7000 feet above sea level, The heady combinations of Chill mountain air, orchards and colonial charms still make Shimla a dream get away. Arrive and transfer to hotel. Rest of the day is free to explore various scenic sights or visit Mall Road. Night stay in Shimla.
Day 2: Shimla - Kufri - Shimla(Excursion Tour)
After breakfast proceed to excursion to Kufri, a must-visit place, located at an altitude of 2290 meters above the sea level, Kufri is famous for its Himalayan National Park, Poney and Yak Ride and One can see the endless Himalayan Panorama from Kufri, after lunch, explore the various places in Shimla, visit the Vice Regal Lodge- once the summer residence of various British viceroys. Evening is free at leisure or you can roam around on the Mall Road. Have your dinner and overnight stay in hotel.
Day 3: Shimla - Manali
Today you will proceed by road to Manali (274 kms / 7hrs) a picture-perfect hill resort at an altitude of 1,929 meters. Set amidst pine-clad mountains, which gradually close in on both sides of the Beas and nestling in their shade, as though carved out of primeval forest, is a scattered hamlet, which comprises this picturesque resort. Arrive & check in at pre-booked hotel. Rest of the day free at leisure. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 4: Manali Sightseeing
This morning after breakfast proceed for sightseeing tour of Manali, visiting the 450 years old temple dedicated to Hadimba Devi, which has some excellent woodcarving. You also visit the Tibetan Monastery, Van Viharika, Mall Road and the handicraft center. The rest of the day at leisure or walk to the nearby picturesque village of Vashisht known for its hot sulphur springs. Stay overnight at Manali.
Day 5: Manali - Rohtang Pass - Manali(Excursion Tour)
After breakfast proceed to Solang Valley and Rohtang Pass. Solang Valley located on the way to Rohtang Pass and is around 14 kilometers from Manali. This picturesque destination offers you the adventure opportunities such as zorbing and para-gliding. The next visit of the day is to Rohtang Pass, covered with snow all-round the year, located at the height of 3978 meters, it is open from June to October. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6: Manali - Delhi
Today is the final day of the tour. After early morning breakfast. Complete the check-out formalities. Proceed for drive back to New Delhi.
