Ahmedabad

 Ahmedabad is situated at the banks of Sabarmati River. It World famous for Sbarmati Ashram (Gandhiji’s Ashram). The major monuments of the city include Teen Darwaza, Ahmed Shah's Mosque, the tombs of Ahmed Shah as well as his queens, Mosque of Sidi Sayid and Jama Masjid. Formerly the capital of Gujarat, is a great place to visit. Here, one can experience a range of Hindu craftsmanship as well as Islamic architecture found in the historical monuments. The attraction of Kankaria Lake, Victoria Gardens, Bhadra Fort, Vaishno Devi Temple and the Akshardham Temple and the must visits here. One can also notice the polls (traditional colonies) dating back to British rule.

Vadodara

Sasan Gir Lion Sanctuary

Sasan Gir National Park is the only place after the Africa wherein lion has its natural habitat. Here, the Asiatic lion is a majestic sight to experience. One can also spot chital, leopard, chinkara (gazelle), wild ass wild boar, nilgai, four-horned antelope and spotted deer in this forest. It is also home for Peacock (India’s national bird),  monkeys and parrots. Also, there is a crocodile rearing and research center here. One can even have a safari here, but with a special permit. The Gir forest also has the Nalsarovar Lake, for the tourist eye. Also, there is a Lord Krishna temple near the Tulsi Shyam springs.
