Bangalore - The City of Gardens

Bangalore (now called as Bangaluru), which is the capital of Karnataka, is the fifth biggest city in India. Mysore - The Home of Chamundeshwari

Mysore city is also known as the City Of Palaces. There are also a large number of buildings built by the Royalty. There are many other tourist attractions that one should not miss in Mysore city. One of the famous spots is the Chamundeshwari Temple and Chamundi Hills. The Mysore Palace, is in saracenic style and  has a unique fusion of both Muslim as well as Hindu. The Mysore Zoo is the oldest Zoo of the country and had been set up by a Maharaja Chamaraja Wodeyar in late nineteenth century. Hampi - The World Heritage Site

Hampi is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located near Hospet. Hampi is charismatic even in its ruined state. It attracts thousands of tourists and pilgrims every year. Vast stretches of boulder-strewn hills make the backdrop of Hampi unique. Tourist spots include Virupaksha Temple, Hampi bazaar, Vittal temple, Archeological Museum at Kamalapuram and many more.

Hospet

Being just thirteen kilometers away from the World Heritage Site Hampi, Hospet acts as a base for the tourists for the Vijayanagar’s ruins at Hampi. Here, one can opt for one of the day-long sight-seeing tours of the Tungabhadra dam and Hampi. Hospet is situated at a 325 kilometers from Bangalore. The town of Chitradurga is a must visit for all the tourists to Hospet.  Also, do not miss the Archaeological Museum, Jogimatti (it is one of the highest points in the area), Ankli Matha, Murugharajendra Matha and the Himavat Kedaya waterfall.
