Overview
Golden Chariort – Sparks of South India is commence a fascinating and luxurious voyage of discovery with the South train and travel through timeless historical heritage sites, experiencing palaces, wildlife and golden beaches. The Golden Chariot is a 7 Nights / 8 Days journey from the cosmopolitan city of Bangalore travelling through Mysore, Srirangapatna, Nagarhole National Park, and the historical sites of Shravanabelagola, Belur. Also visit the world heritage sites of Hampi, Badami, Pattadakal and finally the golden beaches of Goa before returning to Bangalore. The Golden Chariot is a fully air-conditioned luxury train with 19 specially designed coaches. The cabins are well appointed and attractively inspired by the Mysore and Hoysala schools of art and architecture. They feature en suite bathrooms, Wi-Fi and plasma TV. The two restaurants serve Indian, continental and international cuisine.
Itinerary
Day 01: Arrive in Bangalore (By flight)
On arrival at Bangalore, our representative will greet and welcome you with our Indian tradition after your arrival. On reaching Bangalore you will be escorted to your accommodation. Check into your accommodation and take rest after your long flight journey. Fresh up and our representative will show you our tour itinerary catalogue as you planned.

Day 02: Bangalore Sightseeing
Tourist Attractions: Bull Temple, Lalbagh, Vidhan Soudha, Cubbon Park
Have your morning breakfast and then you can spend the rest of the morning at leisure. After lunch the rest of the afternoon you will tour Bangalore, the silicon capital of India, noted for its gardens, tree-lined avenues and Gothic churches. In the evening you will depart for Mysore by boarding Golden Chariot train – Splendor of South. Dinner will be served on board.

Day 03: Mysore/Kabini
Tourist Attractions: Wildlife sanctuary and other sightseeing
Have your morning breakfast while your arrival in Nagarhole, from where you will be driven to an excellent wildlife sanctuary with the Kabini River running through it. Afternoon will be spent in wildlife viewing after the lunch.

Day 04: Mysore Sightseeing
Tourist Attractions: Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace, Mysore Palace and Brindavan Garden
Have your breakfast and you will be driven to Mysore. In the afternoon you will visit Srirangapatnam to see the site of Tipu Sultan’s summer palace and the Mysore Palace. In the evening you will be taken to visit the illuminated Brindavan Garden. After that you will return to the train.

Day 05: Hassan Sightseeing
Tourist Attractions: Jain pilgrimage at Shravanabelagola, Statue of Gomatheshwara
You will be arriving in the morning in Hassan. Have your breakfast and you will be taken to visit the Jain pilgrim centre at Shravanabelagola, with a huge statue of Gomatheshwara (175 ft tall). In the afternoon after breakfast visit the intricately carved Hoysala Temples at Belur and Halebid.

Day 06: Hampi Sightseeing
Tourist Attractions: Vijaynagar and Hampi
Have your morning breakfast and then go for full day sightseeing of Vijayanagar and Hempi ruins dating from the 14th century. Vijayanagar was one of the largest Hindu Empires in the Indian History extending from the Arabian Sea to the Bay of Bengal. The greatness of the city is still evident from the Vitala and the Hazara temples, the stone chariot, Lotus Mahal and the Queen’s bath.

Day 07: Badami Sightseeing
Tourist Attractions: Pattadakal Temple
Have your morning breakfast while your arrival in the morning in Badami and visit the rock-cut shrines. Also visit the ancient temples at Pattadakal, a World Heritage Site located on the banks of the Malaprabha River. And then you will return to the train for an early evening departure to Goa.

Day 08: Goa
Tourist Attraction: Portuguese Church
Have your breakfast while your arrival at Karmali, Goa. Then you will be proceeding for the sightseeing of Goa. You will visit the famous Portuguese churches of Old Goa. After the day is spent in Goa you will return to the train for an overnight journey to Bangalore.

Day 09: Bangalore Sightseeing
After you arrive back to Bangalore you will be transferred to your accommodation and relax. The rest of the day will be for you to spend at leisure and for shopping. At the end of the day you will be taken back to the hotel for relaxation.
