Overview

‘Glimpse of Andhra & Telangana with Sathya Sai Baba’ is well planned itinerary which gives you the chance to explore the major destinations of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Along with that you will also get an opportunity to explore Puttaparthy (Puttaparthi).  It is the town in Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh, which is renowned as the birthplace of Sri SriSathya Sai Baba, here you will visit Puttaparthy Prasanthi Nilayam. This is the main ashram of Sri Sathya Sai Baba. The ashram was established 40 years ago. Here you can also get the chance to Darshan of Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s Mahasamadhi. The duration of the package is 12 nights and 13 days, covering the destinations such as Hyderabad, Warangal, Vijayawada,  NagarjunaSagar, Srisailam, Kurnool, Puttaparthy (Puttaparthi), Tirupati and Chennai.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Hyderabad

On your arrival at Hyderabad airport, meet our representative, after welcome, proceed to the hotel. Hyderabad Renowned as the City of Nawabs, It is culturally rich city of India. It is the capital of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Check in at the hotel. Rest day is free at leisure. Explore the surroundings and markets.

Overnight at hotel.

Day 2: Hyderabad Sightseeing

Today after breakfast, proceed to your tour by visiting the beautiful monument, Char Minar; the stunning Charminar is located in the old city. Built by Muhammad Quli Qqutub shah in 1691, it is an imposing structure with 4 minarets. Char Minar is the oldest mosque in the Hyderabad.  

You then head to Mecca Mosque, the biggest Mosque in Hyderabad. The structure of the mosque is similar to that of Mecca Madina in Saudi Arabia. It was built by Muhammad QuliQutub Shah in 1617.Further, visit the QutaubShahi Tomb, which is one of the most glorious architectural of QutubShahi dynasty.After sightseeing, return back to the hotel.

Day 3: Hyderabad Sightseeing

Today after breakfast, proceed to visit Birla temple, which is one of the most beautiful architecture which was built with South-Indian, Utkala and Rajasthan, three significant type of architectures, located at the height of up to 280 feet, which offers the panoramic view of the town.
 
Then proceed to visit Salarjung Museum, which houses the various historic artefacts, including the several Jade daggers belonging to Emperor Noor Jahan and Shah Jahan, Jahangir, and the wardrobe of Tipu Sultan. Then proceed for Golconda Fort, which is located about 11 kilometres away from Hyderabad. Which is one of the architectural wonders in Hyderabad.
Further, enjoy the boat ride at Hussain Sagar, then proceed Lumbini Gardens, enjoy the water shot up in sky, making a water screen.
After sightseeing, return back to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 4: Hyderabad – Warangal (By Road-148 Kilometres)

After having an early breakfast, proceed to Warangal. It is considered one of the heritage cities and the second-fastest growing city in Telangana state. This city offers a wealth of architecture and exquisite sculptures, which reflects the richness of this town.

Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Take rest for a while, later, proceed on a sightseeing tour of Warangal which include Ramappa Temple, Warangal Fort, Thousand Pillared Temple and Pakhal Lake.

Day 5: Warangal – Vijayawada (By Road-258 Kilometres)

Post breakfast, drive to Vijaywada. It is also known as "The Business Capital of Andhra Pradesh", located on the banks of the Krishna River in Andhra Pradesh.

On arrival in Vijaywada, check in at the hotel. Rest day free at leisure. In the evening, enjoy a leisurely stroll in the city.

Day 6: Vijayawada – Amravati - Vijayawada (By Road-40 Kilometres)

Today after breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Vijaywada. Visit the famous Durga temple. Later, head straight to Amravati. It is one of the historical city, situated on the banks of Krishna River in Andhra Pradesh. It was once the capital of first Andhra dynasty, the satvahanas and during Buddhism golden era, dated back to 2nd century BCE.
Explore the medieval ruins of Buddhist stupas and temples in Amravati and will return back to Vijaywada.
Stay overnight in the hotel.

Day 7: Vijayawada - NagarjunaSagar (By Road-170 Kilometres)

Post breakfast, drive to NagarjunaSagar. On your arrival at hotel in NagarjunaSagar, check in and take a little rest. Later, in the afternoon, visit the Nagarjuna Konda and Anupu - the Amphitheatre. Also pay a visit to various other Buddhist remains in the area. Return to your hotel.
Overnight stay in NagarjunSagar.

Day 8: NagarjunaSagar - Srisailam (By Road-180 Kilometres)

After breakfast at hotel, drive to Srisailam. The town is an ancient religious place for Hindus, Srisailam is renowned for Sri BhramarambaMallikarjuna Temple, which is is one of the 12 Jyotirlinga temples devoted to Lord Siva.

Reach your hotel, check in and take rest. Later in the evening, visit Mallikarjuna Temple. This temple is nestled in the Jungles of Nallamala. After excursion, return to your hotel. Rest day is free at leisure.

Day 9: Srisailam - Kurnool (By Road-180 Kilometres)

Post breakfast, drive to Kurnool. Reach your hotel, check in and take a little rest. Later in the afternoon visit Chalukyan Nava Bramha temples, which is one of the most beautiful 7th century temple.
 Later proceed to the wonderful museum at Alampur. Return to your hotel.
Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 10: Kurnool - Puttaparthy (By Road-240 Kilometres)

Early morning, after breakfast, drive to Puttaparthy (Puttaparthi).  It is the town in Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh. It is renowned as the birthplace of Sri SriSathya Sai Baba.

Check in at your hotel in Puttaparthy. After freshen, proceed to visit Vijayanagar temple and the great Nandi at Lepakshi. Also visit the impressive Fort ruins at Penugonda. Return to your hotel.
Overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 11: Puttarpathy

After having an early breakfast, proceed for fully dedicated for excursion to PuttaparthyPrasanthiNilayam. This is the main ashram of Sri Sathya Sai Baba. The ashram was established 40 years ago. Here you may attend the early morning prayers, Darshan of Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s Mahasamadhiand later explore the attractions of the ashram. You may also attend evening prayers. Later return to your hotel.
 Overnight stay in Puttarpathy.

Day 12: Puttaparthy - Tirupathi (By Road-228 Kilometres)

Today after breakfast, proceed for a full day excursion to Tirupathi (Tirupati). Visit the Govindaraju temple, Padmavati temple and Lord Venkateswara temples.
Further, proceed for hotel, check in to the hotel. Rest of the day is free at leisure.
Overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 13: Tirupathi - Chennai (By Road-175 Kilometres)
