Overview
‘Sort Escape to Nagarhole National Park’ will give you the chance to explore the majestic wildlife at Nagarhole National Park. It is located at the distance of about 224.3 kilometres from Bangalore and it is the part of the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve. This amazing park was established in 1983 and declared the thirty seventh Project Tiger Reserve in 1999. The Nagarhole National Park, also known as Rajiv Gandhi National Park is the home of tiger, elephant, leopard and more than 250 species of birds.
Itinerary
Day 01: Bangalore - Nagarhole National Park (By Road- 224.3 Kilometres)
Early morning, pick up from advised location and drive to Nagarhole National Park. On reaching at Nagarhole, check-in at your pre-booked jungle lodge. Spend the day at leisure, explore the surrounding lush greenery, enjoy the nature walk etc.
Stay overnight at jungle lodge
Day 02: Nagarhole National Park
Today after breakfast, proceed for a wildlife safari into the national park. Mainly consists of moist grasslands sprawled across 645 square kilometres, which is the home of leopard, tiger, and elephant and over 250 species of birds. It provides ample opportunity for wildlife viewing.
Stay overnight at jungle lodge.
Day 03: Nagarhole National Park – Bangalore (By Road- 224.3 Kilometres)
Today is the last day of the tour, after having the breakfast, transfer to Bangalore airport to board a flight for onward destination.
