Lava is small and beautiful village in Darjeeling district, located at the height of about 7,016 feet. It is one of the most scenic place, which is the one of the place in West Bengal which offers the snow in winters. Latguri is a tiny hamlet in Jalpaiguri district of West Bengal. It is located near Gorumara National Park. It is also the home of "Nature Interpretation Center" which gives the knowledge about the flora and fauna. Enjoy the breath-taking view of Mt. Khangchendzonga as well.
Itinerary
Day 01: NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport – Kalimpong (By Road- 85 kilometres)
Upon arrival at NJP Railway station / IXB airport, meet our representative & transfer to Kalimpong – Kalimpong is one of the most picturesque hill station in West Bengal, surrounded with great Himalayas and gently rolling hills around.
On arrival at Kalimpong, check-in to your hotel. Rest day is free at leisure. Overnight stay will be at Kalimpong.
Day 02: Kalimpong Sightseeing – Pedong (By Road-25 Kilometres)
After breakfast enjoy half day tour of Kalimpong visit Nature Interpretation Centre, Golf Garden, Durpin Dara Hills, Flowers Nurseries and Kali Temple.
Afternoon that transfer to Pedong is a picturesque town in Darjeeling district, it is located at the height of 4,071 feet. This beautiful town offers the breath-taking view of view of the Kanchenjunga and the Himalayan Mountains. On the way visit Mangal Dham, Dr. Graham’s and Home Deolo Hill.
Upon arrival at Pedong, check in to your pre booked hotel. Rest day is free at leisure. Overnight stay at Pedong.
Day 03: Excursion to Aritar Lake
Today after breakfast proceed to visit Tinchuley View Point then proceed for an excursion to Aritar Lake which is located at the height of 4,600 feet from sea level. Aritar is a region in East Sikkim. The lake is surrounded by lush greenery.
After exploring the surroundings of the Lake Aritar, return back to Pedong. Overnight stay at Pedong.
Day 04: Pedong – Lava (By Road-22 Kilometres) via Loleygaon
After breakfast transfer to Lava. It is tiny village in Darjeeling district, located at the height of about 7,016 feet. It is one of the most scenic place, which is the one of the place in West Bengal which offers the snow in winters. En route, explore the Loleygaon, here you can so Canopy walk in the Heritage Forest.
On arrival at Lava, check-in to your hotel. Overnight stay at Lava.
Day 05: Lava Sightseeing – Lataguri (By Road-59 kilometres)
After breakfast transfer to Latguri. It is a tiny hamlet in Jalpaiguri district of West Bengal. It is located near Gorumara National Park. Enroute visit Changey Waterfalls and Lava Monastery.
Upon arrival at Lataguri. Check in to your pre-booked hotel. Overnight stay at Lataguri.
Day 06: Gorumara National Park (Jeep Safari) + Local Sightseeing
Today early morning, enjoy the Jeep Safari at Gorumara National Park. It is the home of Indian rhinoceros, gaur, Asian elephant, sloth bear, chital, and sambar deer.
After safari, back to hotel for breakfast. After breakfast visit Samsing, Suntalekhola, Bindu, Jhalong and Murti River side. Overnight stay at Lataguri.
Day 07: Lataguri - NJP Railway station / IXB Airport (By Road-80 Kilometres)
