Rapid Golden Triangle I had a wonderful experience in Golden Triangle Tour of North India! The trip was great! Everything worked very well The travel itself was well elaborated, the hotels were very well equilibration, from the more basic ones to the luxury resorts as the Dune or the Taj Malabar in Cochin. Overview

‘Short Escape to Shrinagar’ will give you the chance to explore one of the most beautiful city of Jammu & Kashmir, Srinagar. It is the summer capital of Jammu & Kashmir state, situated in Kashmir valley, on the banks of the Jhelum River. This picturesque town is renowned for its marvellous gardens, gorgeous waterfronts and beautiful houseboats. Srinagar was established in 3rd century BC, by Ashoka a Mauryan Emperor. The city is also popular for traditional Kashmiri handicrafts and dried fruits as well. During the tour you will explore the major attractions of Srimagar such as popular Mughal gardens of Nishat and Shalimar.

Apart from this you will also get the chance to explore Pahalgam, one of the most beautiful town of Kashmir valley, situated of 7200 ft. from sea level and on the bank of Lidder River. This beautiful town home of hillside forest with tall pine trees along with river Lidder.

Itinerary

Day 01: Delhi – Srinagar (By Flight)

Upon your arrival at the Srinagar Airport, you will be taken for a 35 minutes’ drive through the heart of Srinagar city, passing the Abdullah Bridge which connects the banks of the Jhelum River.

Check in to your pre booked hotel / houseboat. After freshen up, proceed for an hour of Shikara ride in the lake.

Dinner and Overnight in hotel / houseboats.

Day 02: Srinagar Local sightseeing

Today after breakfast, proceed for half a day of local sightseeing tour of Srinagar, visit to the popular Mughal gardens of Nishat and Shalimar. Later drive back to the hotel / houseboat. Rest day is free at leisure.

Dinner and Overnight in hotel / houseboats.

Day 03: Srinagar - Pahalgam – Srinagar (By Road- 97 kilometres)

After having an early breakfast, proceed to Pahalgam. In Pahalgam, visit Betaab Valley and Chandanwari as well as take a horse riding trip to Baisaran meadows. There are also many walks to the lakes and meadows scattered all around Pahalgam. After sightseeing, we will drive back to Srinagar.

Dinner and Overnight in hotel / houseboats.

Day 04: Srinagar – Delhi ( By Flight) Departure

Today is the last day of the trip. Have breakfast, then proceed to Srinagar airport to take your flight towards Delhi for you’re onwards destination.
