The trip was great! Everything worked very well The travel itself was well elaborated, the hotels were very well equilibration, from the more basic ones to the luxury resorts as the Dune or the Taj Malabar in Cochin. Overview

Matheran is one of the most beautiful hill station of Maharashtra. This amazing hill station is located on the foothill of sahyadri hill Ranges, at 2400 feet above sea level. This splendid hill station is surrounded by dense and lofty evergreen forest, which offers the breath-taking view of lush green Western Ghats. The meaning of town is ‘Forest on Top’. Matheran is renowned with its stunning nature, hence it is a popular weekend getaway. ‘Matheran Weekend Getaway’ will give you the chance to explore the major attractions of this amazing town such as Chouk, Panorama, Louisa, Garbut Point and Echo point etc.

Itinerary

Day 1: Mumbai - Matheran (By Road-83 Kilometres)

In the morning, leave from Mumbai and proceed towards Matheran. Upon arrival in Matheran, take a horse/ hand cart/ walk to the top. Check into the hotel, once reach. Rest day is free at leisure, in the evening, you may explore the surroundings.

Day 2: Matheran

Today after breakfast, proceed for full day sightseeing tour and cover the 12 points. Visit popular points like Chouk, Panorama, Louisa, Garbut Point and Echo point etc. Here you have also options for valley crossing and other activities.

Day 3: Matheran - Mumbai (By Road-83 Kilometres) Departure

Today is the last day of the tour. After breakfast, check out of the hotel and get transferred to the Mumbai airport for your onward journey.
