Tour Description

Overview

‘Historical & Cultural Tour of Rajasthan’ is a well-designed itinerary, which will give you the chance to explore the royal culture of Rajasthan. The State is also known as The Land of Great Kingdoms, embellished with forts and palaces.  The culture and history of Rajasthan is very vast, you can feel the real essence of the royalty spread over the entire state. During this tour you get a chance to explore the monument cities, palaces, cultural cities and various worship places. Get a chance to explore the unique camel - breeding farm in Bikaner. Apart from this you will also get an opportunity to explore the metropolitan yet one of the historical and multicultural city Delhi, which is also the capital of India. The duration of the tour is 10 nights and 11 days, covering the places such as Delhi, Mandawa, Bikaner, Manvar, Jodhpur, Luni, Udaipur, Pushkar and Jaipur.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive at Delhi  
 
On your arrival in Delhi, meet our representative and get transferred to a hotel. An Historical, Cultural, political, Modern or traditional you can explain the city as any of them, like aged wine Delhi become more graceful, more valuable and more with every passing decade. That is the heart of this wonderful city. New Delhi is a capital of India.
 
Upon arrival, Check-in at the hotel. Rest day is free at leisure, or you can explore the popular markets of Delhi, where you can get the some authentic Indian handicraft items. 
 
Overnight stay in Delhi.
 
Day 2: Delhi Sightseeing
 
After breakfast, proceed for city tour, including Old Delhi as well as New Delhi. The sightseeing covers the main attractions of Delhi such as Laxmi Narayan Temple, India Gate, The monument commemorates the Indian Solider was killed during the world for and Afghan war, the monument has names of the soldiers engraved on the walls of the monument who died in these wars,  Parliament House, Rashtrapati Bhavan and Jama Masjid, India's largest mosque. Visit the towering Qutab Minar, Purana Quila, Humayun's Tomb and Jantar Mantar observatory. Pay homage at Raj Ghat, Mahatma Gandhi's memorial. In the evening enjoy the Sound & Light Show at Red Fort. 
After sightseeing, return to the hotel.

Day 3: Delhi – Mandawa (By Road-235 Kilometers)
 
After breakfast drive straight to Mandawa. It is the major part of Shekhawati region, it is a small town in Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan. It is located about 190 kilometre away from Jaipur. Mandawa is known for its havelies and forts.
 
Upon arrival in Mandawa, check-in at the hotels. After freshen up, proceed for the city tour of Mandawa. Firstly visit to the splendid Mandawa Haveli. The intricately painted walls of this place and the detailed work will enthrall you to the fullest.
 
After that visit some other popular havelis include the Jhunjhunwala Haveli, Hanuman Prasad Goenka Haveli, Gulab Rai
Ladia Haveli, Goenka Double Haveli, Murmuria Haveli, and the Mohan Lal Saraf Haveli. After visiting the havelies, return back to the hotel.
 Enjoy an overnight stay at Mandawa.
 
Day 4 : Mandawa – Bikaner (By Road-194 Kilometers)
 
After having an early breakfast, drive towards Bikaner. Bikaner is a most vibrant desert town with tremendous forts, utterly sculptured temples of red and yellow sand stones display some of the finest creations of Rajput civilization. It is the most beautiful yet very quiet destination of Rajasthan.
 
Once you arrive in Bikaner, check into your hotel. After freshen up, proceed for sightseeing that will cover main attractions of the town such as Raj Ratan Bihari temple, Junagarh Fort, Rasik Shiromani temple, Karan Mahal and the Karni Mata Temple. In the evening explore the unique camel - breeding farm. 
Enjoy comfortable night stay at Bikaner.
 
 Day 5: Bikaner – Manvar (By Road-230 Kilometers)
 
Today morning after an early breakfast, drive to Manvar. Check in at the hotel, upon arrival. Full day excursion to village Camel ride in Thar Desert. Also visit villages of the Bishnoi Tribal community to understand their culture and traditions. 
Overnight stay at the Manvar.
 
Day 6 : Manvar – Jodhpur (By Road-111 Kilometers)– Luni (By Road-80 Kilometers)
 
Post breakfast leave for Jodhpur. On reaching step out on a sightseeing tour of City, to visit the Mehrangarh Fort. The palace exhibits beautiful miniature paintings, Jaswant Thada Memorial and cradle room. 
 
Later in the day drive to Luni. Along the bank of the river Luni is the hamlet of chanwa. Its fort and fallen into disarray but has now restored but has now been restored as a heritage hotel. 
Upon arrival, check in to the hotel, Overnight stay at hotel in Luni.
 
Day 7: Luni – Udaipur (About 258 Kilometers)
 
In the morning after breakfast, after breakfast, proceed to Udaipur- which is also known as “City of Lakes”. The city has clean lakes dotted with isles, which are decorated with ancient forts and palaces. 
On arriving in Udaipur, check-in at the hotel. Rest day is free at leisure.
Overnight stay at Udaipur.
 
Day 8: Udaipur
 
This morning, after you munch your breakfast, leave for a sightseeing tour to Udaipur. Udaipur, known as the City of Lakes is a city rich in cultural heritage. The city showcases the imperial Rajput era and takes one back to the glorious past. This beautiful city is also referred to as “Venice of the East”
 
Begin with a visit to the City Palace, Jagdish Temple, Jag Mandir and Saheliyon-Ki-Bari. After visiting all these attractions, enjoy your day on the banks of the Lake Pichola which is known as the crown of the city. Later, return back to the hotel.
 
Stay overnight in Udaipur
 
Day 9: Udaipur – Pushkar (By Road-290 kilometers)            
 
Post breakfast, drive straight to Pushkar. The town is known as one of the ancient existing city of India. It is the town of Ajmer district which is located 14 kilometer away from Ajmer. It is also one of the most important pilgrim destination for Hindus. 
 
Upon arrival, you take a dip in the Pushkar Lake, it is one of the important pilgrim for Hindus and taking a dip in this lake is said to cleanse the sins of individual. It is also claimed to have medicinal properties and is said to cure skin disease and enjoy the beauty of Rose Garden. 
Later, you check in to the hotel and stay overnight.
 
Day 10: Pushkar – Jaipur (About 145 Kilometers)
 
On your arrival in Jaipur, meet our tour representative, get transferred to Jaipur. The capital of Rajasthan and largest city of the state, Jaipur, it seeks to combine the modern with the ancient and gleaming malls with resplendent palaces and forts.
 
Upon arrival, check in to the hotel. After freshen up, proceed to visit main attractions of Jaipur including Hawa Mahal, The palace was designed for the royal women, so that they could see the festivals of the city without coming out of the palace. City palace complex is located within the heart of Jaipur, which includes the Chandra Mahal and Mubarak Mahal palaces and other buildings. It was built by Sawai Jai Singh II between 1729 and 1732 AD.  You may also visit Jantar Mantar Observatory this monument was built by Sawai Jai Singh, which is listed UNESCO World Heritage Site
Visit Jal Mahal, located at Man Sagar Lake, this fort was built in the 18th century and feels equally haunting and enchanting. 
 
Overnight stay in Jaipur.
 
Day 11: Jaipur – Delhi (By Road-280 Kilometers)
 
In the morning visit Amer Fort. Ride up to this hilltop palace on a caparisoned and painted elephant. Post lunch, drive towards Delhi from where you will be transferred to the International airport to board flight for onward destinations.
