Itinerary
Day 01: Arrive Chennai
Upon arrive at Chennai airport, meet our representative after welcome, and proceed to the hotel. Check in at your pre booked hotel. Rest day is free at leisure. Overnight in Hotel
Day 02 : Chennai –Ooty ( By Train) – Departs at 21:00 hrs
Today after having breakfast, proceed for full day city tour of Chennai visiting Marina Beach, The St. George Fort, Santhome Cathedral, Kapaleeshwara Temple and Parthasarthy Temple.
In evening transfer to Railway Station to board the Nilagiri Express for Ooty, which depart at 2100 hours. Overnight on board.
Day 03:Ooty
Upon arrival at Mettupalayam at around 0615 hours. Upon arrival board the Toy Train, which departs at 0710 hours. You will arrive Ooty at 1200 hours. Ooty is also known as Udhagai or Udhagamandalam, located on the foothill of Nilgiri, on the height of about 2,240 meter above sea level.Upon arrival transfer to hotel. After noon free for leisure. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 04: Ooty
Post breakfast, proceed for the tour of in and around Ooty, including Koddandu Point, Ketty Valley, Lamb’s Park, Tea Gardens, Dolphin’s Nose, Rose Garden, Avalanche and Sim’s Park. After sightseeing, return back to the Ooty. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 05: Ooty
In the morning, after breakfast, proceed to visit some other major attractions of the city such as Botanical Garden, Ooty Lake, Doddabetta Peak, apart from this you will also get an opportunity to shop at the local markets of Ooty. Return back to the hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 06: Ooty– Mysore (About 130 kms / 4 hrs By Road)
Today after breakfast, drive to Mysore, which is located at about 130 kilometres. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel. After freshen up, proceed to visit the famous Brindavan Garden which is located at about 19 kms.from Mysore. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 07: Mysore
Today after breakfast. Proceed for full day city tour visiting Maharaja's Palace, Chamarejendra Art Gallery, Nandi, Huge figure of Demon Mahishasura, Government Silk Factory and Government Sandelwood Oil factory etc. Overnight at hotel.
Day 08: Mysore – Bangalore (140 kms by road / 3 hrs By Road)
Morning drive to Bangalore. Upon arrival Check into hotel. Afternoon City tour of Bangalore visiting the Lalbagh, Bull temple which was built in the Dravidian Style. Visit Tipu's Palace which was the summer residence of Tipu Sultan. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 09: Bangalore (Departure)
Today is the last day of the tour. Today morning, after breakfast, transfer to the airport to board flight for onward destination.
