Owned and operated by Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation, The Maharajas' Express is a luxury train which runs on 5 circuits, covering more than 12 destinations across the Central India and North-West. The main sector is Rajasthan. It takes you back into an era of elegant traveling evocative of the romance of Maharajas.it has got The World Travel Awards, 2012, 2013 and 2014 and voted "The World's Leading Luxury Train". The Maharaja Express was started in March 2010, which is fully equipped with modern amenities to offer comfortable on board experiences to the guest, such as pneumatic suspension, live television, wifi, attached bathroom, dining cars, bar, lounge etc. The duration of this tour is 07 nights and 08 days, this luxury tour itinerary offers you a whirlwind tour across diligently selected destinations to bring out the best of the Indian diversity and rich heritage. Itinerary
Day 01: Depart Delhi at 22:30 Hrs
Have your breakfast and proceed for Delhi sightseeing. At 10:30 p.m. We will board the Maharajas' Express Train at Safdarjung Railway Station. You will be welcomed with royal tradition by garlanding, tikka and welcome drinks before boarding the train. You will be served dinner on board and take rest.

Day 02: Jaipur
Today morning arrive the pink city, ‘Jaipur’. This city is known for its magnificent and marvellous palaces, forts and temples. Here you can experience the beautiful handicrafts, handlooms,world famous gem stones,and other textiles. Take your lunch at Amber Fort. After reaching Amber, enjoy elephant ride up to the fort.

Day 03: Ranthambore – Fatehpur Sikri – Agra
Have your breakfast in the morning and reach Ranthambore National Park, which is about 14 Kms from Sawai Madhopur. There visit the great fort of Ranthambore at the top of the Aravalli hill. This National Park is reserved for Royal Tigers. Then you will take for jungle safari inside the National Park. Be lucky to find out Tigers and other species. And also you can enjoy bird watching inside the forest. Take your lunch in the train. Then we will move towards the ghost city of Agra, Fatehpur Sikri. Take your lunch onboard. Return back to the train and continue your journey to Agra.

Day 04: Agra – Gwalior
Have your breakfast in the morning and arrive at Agra. After the breakfast, we will visit the the world famous Taj Mahal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site which was built by the Emperor Shah Jahan of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. After that we will continue our journey towards fort city of Gwalior. Take your lunch and then proceed on a tour of the magnificent Gwalior In the evening enjoy tea. Then return back to the train and depart for Orchha.

Day 05: Orchha – Khajuraho
Have your breakfast in the morning and arrive at Jhansi Railway station and drive towards Orchha. Breakfast on board and then visit to the Jahangiri Mahal, pass over Chaturbhuj temple & the Cenotaphs of Orcha. Return to the train and continue onwards to the temple city of Khajuraho. Lunch on board. Upon arrival, proceed to visit the magnificent temples of Khajuraho. Visit the three groups - the Western Group of Temples at Khajuraho, and after the lunch we will visit the Southern group of temples. Have your evening tea on the train and take rest. You will be served dinner on the board and depart for Varanasi.

Day 06: Varanasi
Have your breakfastand you will arrive at Varanasi excellent city is famed for its ghats alongside River Ganges. You can go for boat riding in the morning and experience the beautiful ghats on River Ganges. Return back to your Royal Rajasthan on Wheels Train for breakfast and take some rest. Later we will proceed for excursion tour to UNESCO World Heritage site of Sarnath. Return to the train and have your lunch and take some rest. In the evening, attend the Aarti on the river Ganges. You will be served dinner onboard and depart for Lucknow.

Day 07: Friday Lucknow
Have your breakfast in the morning and arrive at Lucknow, popularly known as “The City of Nawabs”. Morning proceed on a sightseeing tour of Lucknow visiting Bara Imambara & The Residency. The Bara or Great Imambara is an amazing monument of Lucknow dedicated to Muslim holy man. Beside the Imambara, the British Residency of Lucknow is a famous historical landmark of this place. Have your lunch on the train. After sometime of relaxation, we will proceed to enjoy the Indian Night at the Residence of Local Nawab of Jehagirabad. Dinner on board and depart for Delhi.

Day 08: Saturday In Delhi
Have your breakfast in the morning and arrive at Delhi. Check out from the luxurious train and then transfer to the airport to board flight for onwards journey. We wish you for a safe journey.
